depends on what kind of love you're talking about, but yes, it is just chemicals in the brain.
It's all just chemicals, but it's upsetting when people belittle things that people feel to such bland and seemingly unimportant stuff. Music is just vibrations on air molecules, but that doesn't mean that people attribute more to it. So it is effectively, much more than vibrations on air molecules.
So, while yeah emotions are just chemicals, they also mean a lot to us as human beings.

while it all boils down to chemicals, there are a multitude of factors that impact the production of said chemicals, both internal and external.

I've hear misses or missus or whatever used for just a girlfriend before. Not a ton but I wouldn't call it uncommon either. Though I used to live in England and heard it mostly there rather than here in the US, so I guess it's more of a regional thing.
I'm just gonna let out alittle steam.
So I met this girl at a consert last wednesday, we didn't talk much then. But on the bus back home I sat down next to her. And i say we kind of hit it off. I was with my friend and she was with some friends too.
my sister and cousin and some of their friends were also there. and we were laughing and talking the whole trip home. Like all of us was just dying of laughter.
We talked some on facebook on thursday, and on friday. And decided that me and my friend should come to where she lives. and we did and her sis was there. we were laughing the whole day and playing. and it seemed to me that she really liked me. And her sister was almost always telling me to ask her out. So I asked her out later that night on facebook, and she said yes.
we went back there on sunday and she seemed out of it, hard to explain.
but we still had fun and I was carrying her around all over the place.
But today(tuesday) she broke up with me. Saying that it was her sister that was on her pc when I asked her out and that she was the one that said yes for her. And well that we had only known eachother for a few days. And i was really clingy. age was also a problem for her(I'll be 19 soon and she is 15)
And I can understand that, but what pissed me off. Was the fact that after this she tried to make me seem like the bad person.
and i accomplished all this in under a week, which is in a way a achivement. not a good one though.
