of all the weird pet names people use in this thread, this is definitely the weirdest because it implies you're married when you're not
Fucking 'Straya cunt. We call our girls the misses even when we're not married. [editline]18th July 2012[/editline] But you're right it does mean wife, haha. [editline]18th July 2012[/editline] If you didn't actually come inside her you should be fine. I've done that loads of time and then put a condom on later.
Soon enough she'll become your misses...
yes soon...
shit I gotta break up with my girlfriend she didn't want to use Kwisatz Haderach as a safe word
You should have made her say The Holy Emperor of Mankind.
Aight, i gotta know. Romance in the workplace, good or bad?
Aight, i gotta know. Romance in the workplace, good or bad?
Without being psychic its pretty difficult to tell. If things go badly wrong, you're fucked, it can be awkward, unpleasant or the other person could make your working life outright hell. It's also pretty distracting at times to work with the person you're in a relationship and it means you have even less time apart, which can go either way depending on how much time you spend with them already.
generally it's a bad idea, considering that you'll still have to see the person and even interact with them daily if things go wrong. if you end up angry at each other if things don't work out it could impact your job.
Hey guys. I kissed a girl for the first time last night. Being a shy 17 year old Facepuncher, I am extremely proud. Now that I vented my happiness, I will go lurk some more...

I got a friend at the same job that is significantly higher on the food chain than I and now he's dating a newhire. We've all told him that this is a really bad idea and he's convinced that nothing will go wrong and everything will be fine regardless of how things turn out. That and there are several really cool girls where I work that if they weren't working here I'd so be pushing forward with...
There's a difference between a manager dating a newhire and you dating someone who works with you. Sounds like bullshit to me, your reasoning that is.
There's a difference between a manager dating a newhire and you dating someone who works with you. Sounds like bullshit to me, your reasoning that is.
Okay. Why?
Fucking your boss sure is intimidating, but man, does it boost your ego!

dating someone at work really isn't as big a deal as is being made out here, especially if where you work isn't tiny i work in a small supermarket and there are at least 3 work-place relationships going on there that i know of. one is between two semi-managerial staff, one is between two young shop assistants and the other one transcends the two positions of authority. i've also shagged a girl from work after the christmas party and we still share lifts to work on a weekly basis and it isn't awkward at all sometimes you just gotta go with shit and risk it because it's way better to fuck something up than to have never even bothered trying

In my friends case, all this girl has to do is imply to anyone else in the company that he's mistreating her, and management will come down on his head like a ton of bricks. If anyone even thinks that she's getting special treatment because of her relationship, then he's fucked. If she's the vengeful type and something goes south, he's fucked. In my case it'd be a similar story, minus the "special treatment". If somethign goes wrong, I have to see her EVERY SINGLE DAY. Anyone else who knows of it could be made uncomfortable by any conflict we have, if either side chooses to do so they can accuse the other of unwanted sexual contact, if it pisses off management at all then we're gone, the list goes on. Its just so fucking dangerous. Unless I'm planning on knocking one up and starting a family, then simply no girl here at work is worth losing my job over and the more that is beaten into my head, the better.

Guys, my lovely girlfriend has gone away for a month.. hold me.
wait a sec are we talking about real life here or a really bad film because i can't tell [editline]19th July 2012[/editline] what is this job you have. is it just a summer job or a part-time thing to get you through uni/college or something? i'd probably risk love over that (i'm ignoring the fact for the moment that all the 'risk' sounds purely fantastical at worse or incredibly pessimistic at best)
No no, this is my job job. Summer job? DUde fuck it I'd risk that, its temporary. But this is my sole and central form of employment.
Personally, this is all "what if". There's a "what if" with everything, you can't control reality. You might lose your job regardless. I'd rather you go out a meet women on the street or whatever it is comfortable for you, I don't give a fuck if you hit on women at your work.
I can read people pretty well I'd like to think, but sorry if I'd rather just look elsewhere or stay single if the alternative is unemployment.
But you can still be in a relationship at the same time you're working. Doesn't need to be something that serious or harmful to your career. Sure it can go wrong, but I guess it won't be that damaging to your work. Won't hurt giving a relationship a shot if you keep things outside the work place. Also isn't there a document at your company for you to sign in case you're in a relationship with a co-worker?
I'm about to turn 27 my girlfriend is by far the hottest I've ever been with just turned 21, and I find her sometimes laying around the house curled up with her feet tucked beneath her butt, wearing these small hot little pjs, these tiny little white short short pjs with a little hand print design on the butt, sometimes able to see her gstring right through them, and wearing this light pink low cut hello kitty shirt, an sleeping with no bra can slightly see her nipples. I love it when her lower back tattoo is showing. Although theree been times when I had guy friends come over and she's be asleep on the couch in that attire. And it's times like that I wish I'd remember to get a damn blanket. But yea I don't know just a random girlfriend thought, although I do hate when I come home from class or swing by on my way to work and can't stay long and find her like that, dammit woman I just want to utterly violate you in your sleep and I cant! It makes it really hard to focus on school or work after that haha
