Well, the whole bar/club scene is not only over-hyped, it's plain weird. Even though the legal age for entering is 18 here, it feels to me as if everyone but the older people go there sometimes. I think it comes down to having the right crowd with you and the bouncers won't even bother. Got a good girl-friend who went everywhere when she was only 14. She'll be turning 18 soon but I never saw the point in age limits. Oh, and do consider bars/clubs are the kinds of places people looking for nothing more than a one-nighter generally hang out.

I never thought that I would be that near of doing it, but I think I am about to do a huge mistake. Cheating on my girlfriend was never an option to me, but now it is really a fucked up situation.
So university is over and I have tons of vacation, naturally I went home where I used to live, which is 650 km away from where I study. My girlfriend with whom I have been now 5 months is in Italy, she has some work and other stuff. So we won't see eachother for 3 months, we have skype and such. To conclude she is like 750 km away from me. We both have a cool relationship but it went pretty shite the last weeks and I have this feeling off getting rid of her. Something bothers me terribly and I do not know why, I have also been constantly thinking about my ex-girlfriend.
After a few days home I decided to visit her place with my car, she said that she had some stuff of mine. But then I asked her out and I was pretty sure that she won't accept it but to my surprise she was totally cool about it and was actually fucking happy, which suprised me. Besides she looked so hot and I totally felt like on the first day with her. So we drove a bit in my car and had dinner and went to a lake where we chilled and talked about all the stuff that happened. Our last conversations and visits were quite a disaster and totally fucked up because she had tons of psychotic problems and such.
But then she totally said that she needs me and that with every other guy that she was together were shite and not the same. I also replied that I cannot let go of her, now it is pretty sure that she loves me and I still like her so much. But during all that time I had this tremendous desire to kiss her and even sleep with her. Anyway we had an awesome day and she said she do not want to make a move to destroy my relationship with this other gal. But somehow I simply do not care about her.
Afterwards she suggested doing some stuff again, I invited her to my place to get some steaks and chill the fuck down. But I know that I am going to make a move and probably sleep with her and to be honest I am quite excited and I totally want this, it doesn't even make me feel bad. The only bad feeling that I have is that I do not have a bad feeling. My ex will totally go with it, it can feel it. But now I am totally fucked.
I never thought that I could be such a prick, but I really love my ex so much. I cannot let go of her, sorry for the bad typing. I wrote this in a rush to get if off my chest.
Don't cheat, at least break up with you girlfriend first.

Cheating is a dick move and you owe it to your 'girlfriend' to make the breakup as painless as possible, even though it sounds like it's gonna be pretty bad. I don't know why having the sensation of 'not caring' makes it anymore justifiable to not give a fuck about someone's feelings. Personally I couldn't - knowing I'd hurt someone badly (boyfriend) would be a big emotional burden for me and the whole process is quite likely to backfire. If it works, you end up with someone you know firsthand can easily cheat on their partner. If you're looking for something insignificant in the first place then why can't you find it somewhere else rather than destroy a relationship in the process?
You can say "oh, I'm doing the guy a favor by showing him his girlfriend can't be trusted / is a cheater" but to me that's just retarded. You're essentially breaking people up so you can get some action; yeah, you're truly the hero we've all needed in our lives and relationships.

Well if I didn't care much then I wouldn't bother. Working around a boyfriend is annoying and, if he is a decent fellow, I would feel bad for attempting to take his girl even if it was just for a fling.
If I really wanted her (and her bf was a dick) then I would just casually work my way up to it, but never once deny that I am looking to be more than friends. Otherwise I get friendzoned and the douche gets the girl. You can't just steal her or borrow her, she has to make the decision.
But if you are looking for a fling, its really just spontaneous thing. You could do it the 'easy' way and take her to a party, get drunk, and hope for the best. Or you might have to be a bit more forward and hope she is willing.
well the thing is there's not many good looking girls around that I know and I can't go out all the time since my parents dont want me to spend too much money out, which sucks. So I don't have much material to work with.
