Poor girl is lucky to be alive. Her will to live for me is literally all that kept her alive. Strep throat and being poor caused this: She got strep throat, couldn't get treated for it, it got so bad she fucked something up in her airway somewhere that constantly leaks blood, and as she coughs that up and spits it out (swallowing it causes her to throw up), she looses blood and blood pressure. The former caused her to be anemic, as she's been coughing up for 2 months, and the latter caused her heart (which has a murmur and a hole in the lower ventricle) to work extra hard.
tl;dr being poor and sick killed her.
I know it's a lot, but you should know how she got to be where she is now.

another thing I notice is that she doesn't invest as much to the conversation as I do. Alright, seriously? I wake up today at about 11, try to strike up a convo with her, and apparently she's mad because at 8:30 this morning she called me and i didn't want to talk. I was sleeping. I know she's doing bad but that doesn't give her an excuse to treat me like shit :(
you said yourself "her will to live for you is literally all that kept her alive" so it's clear she wants you by her side as much as possible. maybe getting mad at you for not wanting to talk was a little excessive, but she's clearly in pain and it's understandable if her emotions are getting the best of her.

My ex used to be the same way, her doctor would get mad at her because she's really picky wouldn't eat a lot. I just asked her what her favourite kinds of foods were so I'd know she would eat if I ever got the chance to cook for her.

You should have talked to her. She's going through a heap right now the least you can do it not sleep for a couple hours more and just talk to her. Girls show their affection and feelings through words a lot more than guys do. Guys hardly talk about their feelings compared to women.
If your girlfriend calls you early in the morning and you decline because you want to sleep, you are in the shit (from personal experience).

i stayed up till 5 am talking to her. i work so i need a little more than 3 hours of sleep
So my girlfriend split with me... it wasn't so bad at first, but then the memories hit me and every time I wasn't distracted I would think of her, and it would just kill me all over again. I think I am coping at the moment and I really just want to find someone else, but now I feel like a duck an ocean, I have a ton of free time due to holidays and she was the only thing that really kept me occupied. I don't know what to do :( you know that feel?
