IMO whatever is in the past is in the past. As long as she takes your feelings seriously right now it will be ok. Its better to focus on the present, makes life more livable.

if it was before then yeah you're being over-zealous and you need to trust your partner to have a bit more self-control.
but it's utterly possible for that to just be your own justification for your behavior.
