Really wish she was.
The people I met from Sweden are really nice and Kind, but most of them complain about the weather there and the fact of it being dull with the long nights and such. But they have great quality of life and great stability.
Here I may have nice weather and sunny beaches, but our minimum wage is 400/500€. 'm currently studying and I can barely pay my fees. The government owes me money and doesn't pay, but if I fail to pay the government they suck me dry and give me no chance at all. If I miss my payment they come at me like the mob for protection money. They expect us to pay at no cost so the guys in the parlament can keep on with their orgies while telling us the crisis will be over soon.
Plus the crime rate and a corrupt as hell government, in which the fat cats sitting there only make laws to benefit their friends and clients on their part time well payed lawyer jobs.
With all this going on, I don't see how I can manage to find happiness and stability in my life here. I don't see how I can have a stable job/business and a family here. I'm actually thinking of getting out of here as soon as I get the chance so I can start reaping the seeds of my hard work.
And yeah, sorry for the offtopic but when someone calls Sweden a shitty place to live in, It just confuses the crap out of me. I wish I could pay 5€ for beer!

However, yeah, everyone gets a little tired from their countries once in a while. However. I didn't mean to rant and it's not like I'm going crazy over what she said, but between complaining and calling shitty goes a long way. Also she hasn't been doing anything rather than complain on her last posts.
I think she needs to think things through before complaining so much. that is all.

I'm passing a rather dark image of things here but let me clarify:
Portugal isn't such a bad place to live in compared to much other places. We're not as bad as Greece or Spain, but we're paying for the orgies of former oafs on the government. And by paying I mean, losing our jobs, getting major bankrupcies all over, getting funds cut off, higher fees and transport prices and consequentially a huge number of people dropping out of university(in my case, my ticket out of here).
Much other countries in Europe may be in a situation like this , however, We're like a 3rd world country compared to Sweden.
We're a very smart people full of ideas and the will to make changes and new things but most of them get lost in bureaucracy that make you loose more money than you gain in the process. Most of us only get to shine out of the country which is very sad.
The majority of our problems could be resolved in an instant by passing some laws and such. However our politicians seem to find scratching their butts a rather delightful way of life.

Sex isn't just sex. At its base, its great exercise and can relieve a lot of stress and induce pleasure. It's not like those having sex are like robots, it can still get passionate as usually the two are at least physically attracted to one another.
