A few weeks ago, things started happening with this girl I've been really close friends with and who I've had a thing for for about a year. We had a sort of friends with benefits arrangement at the start of the year, but I don't like things like that and we ended it. But now we're in a legitimate relationship. that seems to suggest it, but it's really not recommended. the vagina itself is a very clean area, it's just all the rest of the parts and skin down there that aren't, and those are the ones that need to be kept clean. douching can actually do more damage than it's worth

I don't completely douche or anything but just clean out a bit.-snip this bit cause everybody pretends periods dont exist-, as can cum just stick up in there for ages.
I have specifically avoided doucheing or doing anything too much to avoid messing up the pH and all the jazz though.
It does need some cleaning in my opinion at least

You're more prone to infections when you disturb the balance of vaginal flora. I don't even understand how douching became medically accepted.

No clue.
I disturb it minimally for the sake of not having cum leaking from my vag for a day or two after sex. I have never had an infection and it keeps everything acceptable down there. But clearly not douching, that's just a bad idea all together.

i think it makes sense depending on what had actually happened. it sounds like she had a pretty sudden change of heart and flipped out at him for no reason. if it was caused by an event unrelated to the relationship (which seems pretty likely) she might have just been directing her anger at bda incorrectly. once she's had a few days to cool down it'd be logical for her to realize how offensive and uncalled for her behavior was. if that's the case it would just show she's unable to keep her emotions in check and make rational decisions when stressed, so something like that would probably happen again in the future if they continued the relationship.
