I'll put it out like this:
If you dump her, you'll miss her for a bit, but you'll very quickly realize her absence has you feeling better about yourself, and from there you'll feel great.
But if you don't, she [I]will[/I] dump you. Soon. She'll very quickly go to this other guy and you'll feel terrible. And it goes beyond missing her, it'll destroy you. Nothing destroys your confidence and leaves you scared and alone like sticking around for some chick that cheats on you and dumps you for another man. Nothing will make you feel so "second best" than this. It's the worst feeling on the planet, not being good enough.
She won't be phased, right. But you're telling her and the world that you're better than second best and you're not going to be walked all over.

Relationships are like that. Not all of them, typically they break it off in a respectable fashion but not always. You're young, there will be plenty more, many of which will end very well, many of which that won't. The first one is always the hardest, but you learn from these things.

also on that note, ive never cried over or for a girl ever, until my goodbye with my friend. she was crying and i, even teared up too and i never thought id ever do that over a girl.

lotus, i went through something similar to you. i was with my ex for 3 years, we had first dated in high school. i ended up dropping out of high school because of health issues and he was the only person i kept in touch with. i broke up with him several times because frankly our relationship was shit and he treated me quite disrespectfully but ended up sticking with him for two years longer than i should've because i was afraid to lose the only friend i had left. i made it known that i only wanted to be friends with him and he wouldn't settle for that so i ended up staying with him for fear of isolation.
i forgot about him and any feelings i had for him within three days of our last breakup. he treated me badly when we were together and the only thing i felt after the breakup was regret for letting him get away with it for so long.
you did the right thing and as long as you know that i'm sure you'll be able to get over her. it wouldn't be fair to let her keep cheating on you like that.

at that point it doesn't even go through my mind how weird it is to talk about people's genitals on a web forum
So last week, I went on a date with this amazing girl. She's smart, funny, and pretty. We went to see TDKR and later went to the arcade. Everything went smoothly, and we had a nice good-bye kiss. The thing is, she smokes a LOT of weed. I'm talking pretty much every day. I don't have a problem with recreational use of weed, but she has told me that she needs to smoke it to do well on her tests (she's online schooling). I don't think this is a very healthy thing to be doing. I've told her to try to cut back on it, and even her dad said so too. Lately she's been feeling ill, and she told me it happens around two times a month. I'm not sure if it's the weed lowering her immune system (which it probably isn't but I dunno), or she just has a generally weak immune system. If it's the weed doing it, give me some tips on trying to convince her. Also I would like some advice on trying to tell her that she shouldn't be dependant on weed to ace tests. I feel like it's unhealthy.
