Make her dinner! Dinner is great. Makes you look classy and shit. Even if you're not a very stellar cook, you can make a show of tryin' pretty hard, and she'll think it's cute that you're bustling all over the kitchen trying to stay on top of things. If you follow up on this idea, cook something like bolognese. It's relatively simple to cook, tastes fan-fucking-tastic, is quick to make (it can be done in 30 minutes, but I like to leave it for a few hours to get extra tender meat) and is - as BDA said - classy and shit :v:
I did this once for an old girlfriend of mine. Invited her over to my apartment, had the table set up all nicely with a few candles and a bottle of (not-so-expensive) wine, and the bolognese cooking away in the kitchen. It was an awesome night.

That's how things ended up with my last girlfriend! I hadn't been physically active with somebody in a long time, so my libido just kinda went to sleep! She got shit all worked up, and then we broke up. The hormonally-influenced bits of my brain and body haven't quite gotten the message yet, and I'm apin' up every time I get a whiff of interest in a lady.

So I have acne since 3 years and at times it got really good where my face was smooth but at times it was so terrible. Anway I visited a doc and he gave me a prescription for a medication which should cure it all. The downside is that my lips will be dry as fuck and he warned me "no making out, nothing!" and I need to take that for fucking 6 months.
My girlfriend won't be happy :v:

Going with her in a park and just talking can be quite nice (picnics are fun too!). But having dinner can also be pretty good.
Just avoid the movies usually, unless it's followed with a nice dinner.
Thing I don't like about "parks as a first date" is that it's a passive date experience. Yeah, gives you plenty of opportunity to talk, but it can be a bit harder to break the ice and get comfortable because all you're doing is sitting around, or walking.
With somethin' like making dinner, you get the fun lead-up of cooking and being active, which makes you both feel a little bit more at-ease when it comes time for the sitting and talking over the meal you made together.
If you're going to the park for the first date, you should start the day with something a bit lighthearted and goofy, I think! At least, that's what's best for me. I feel most comfortable when being a bit silly, so having fun at the start of the date makes me a bit more open and comfortable. Dispels some of the tension you might be feeling, you dig?

usually when you say party there are going to be some random people, and i wouldn't tell that joke. i tell risque jokes and stories, but i wouldn't tell that joke because that's a real downer. it happens at parties and it makes everyone self-conscious.

It was an after-finals party, about 30 people in total, but we all sort of knew each other, either from classes together, or from previous parties. So not really many random people, perhaps one or two +1's who came along.

I'm incredibly sorry for not conforming to your universal movie seal-of-approval. I enjoyed the movie, I'd watch it again and I don't feel silly for thinking it was funny. Everyone has different tastes in both music and films and I'm pretty sure I'm entitled to my own opinion regarding whether a film is funny or not.
