the 2 people next to me stared at me in a mix of awe and disgust and i had to ask them for a tissue, but nobody had any
so i ran through the building looking for a bathroom because i didnt know my way around yet and when i get there some guy taking a piss took one look at me and said "duude....."

Having someone else in your life like that just puts your mood swings into overdrive.

my nose is like niagara falls when I get a cold, and almost always in lectures so I end up going through like 10 tissues over the course of a lecture and sniffling
I'm completely sure my friends hate me for it
[editline]6th September 2012[/editline]
blowing your nose doesn't even fucking DO anything it's like it just produces more liquid
I really hate those people that clearly need a tissue, but they don't want to use one because the noise would disturb other people in the middle of a test. But then they spent the entire time sniffing the snot up so it doesnt go out.

interesting fact about owls. after the Harry Potter movies a lot of parents bought owls for their kids as pets without any awareness of how difficult they are to keep. as a result Owls are one of the most discarded and abandoned pets in the UK.
the same happened with Dalmatians, they are difficult dogs to keep.
it really upsets me when people ask about keeping wild animals as pets just because they think they look cool. it's pretty cruel to keep an animal captive that hasn't been bred to be domestic and likely won't appreciate being kept indoors.

but all the best Zero! plenty of unexpected things happen in our lifetimes and though having a child is possibly one of the biggest life changers, you seem in a plenty good position to make it work. so good luck!
and photos would be nice, but not when she's fresh out and all covered in blood and yuck please :v:
Thanks, and dont worry I wouldnt post any "fresh" photos lol. Its funny a lot of my mates girlfriends are heaps cut because they also want babies, but my friends aren't prepared to provide. One of my friends in particular is going through hell with his fiancée she is treating him like shit I dont know how he puts up with it. Any more questions?
Also sorry to hear about your girlfriend man maybe she just wasnt the one for you.
So my current GF tells me that when i was on vacation, she went to an 'end of summer' kind of party where everyone went. Anyway, she told me that she was hanging out with her ex pretty much the whole night. Shes told me plenty of times that he hurt her a lot when they broke up but she still "cares" for him, she says she doesnt have "feelings". She doesnt have lingering feelings, but just cares kinda.
I told her that i understand that she still cares for him and whatnot, but dont really have a problem with them still being acquaintances as long as it doesnt interfere with our current relationship whatsoever. I told her i hope she can forget over time, and i hope she does.
So im just wondering, is this a bad sign that my girlfriend still cares for her ex, not more than me, but she still cares. She only thinks of them when they talk, and when they're not, shes thinking of me. Good or Bad?

Seems fine to me. Sounds similar to myself. I still see him around a bit and we are sorta friendly acquaintances now, but I'm completely committed to my current relationship. It's just hard to stop caring completely so it's always just a little bit there, even if they hurt you when they broke up with you.
I always figured not caring at least a little (depending, of course) would be A Bad Thing.

As a sufferer of hayfever, my hatred for this is x100 greater than yours ever will be. It's one thing to hear someone else sniffing nonstop, it's another to have to be doing it yourself. The problem with me is, I can't just blow my nose. It's really damn difficult to blow your nose when it's blocked up. If I try blowing my nose, I just end up making this horrendous wheezing / snorting sounds out of my nose, and nothing really gets done. It's a horrible time of the year, man, I swear I get so stressed. Sitting in class with the sniffles, sucks big time.

I still "care" about my exes to some extent. But then again I can't not care. If someone needs help, genuinely needs help, and I am able to provide said help, then I can't refuse them, I just can't. This includes my exes. First one is married, good for her. Second one fucked me over/up, but if by some grace of God she were to approach me and like, speak or something, and asked for help with something, I'd be hard pressed to not do so.
but then again I'm single so... take from it what you will.
As long as this "care" doesn't grow into something "not just caring", then I don't see a problem with it.
So while hanging out between classes (well, her classes, I had finished for the day) me and my girlfriend were sitting on one of the couches in the student lounge sort of area, and she decided to read to me, which I guess was kind of sweet, although it was from her English textbook and not at all interesting :v:. (It was something like "How to get the most understanding out of reading a passage")

are you one of those engineering students
i detest you people
Student lounge, classes, not lectures, English textbook. I'd say he's a high schooler, not an Engineering student.
Also, what's wrong with Engineering students? The people I know that do Engineering are great, and are really fun to hang out with.

I don't know what it is about this thread, but really, I highly doubt BoysLightUp is being serious. Everyone just needs to take it easy, and BoysLightUp, you gotta stop with the bad jokes :v: Or at least make it more obvious that you're joking about.

I'm going to a community college, and I don't even think they offer any sort of engineering courses.
Just wondering, how the hell did you gather from my post that I'm an engineering student? :v:

I might as well be, I'm taking English and Math, and as of right now, it's basically still review of stuff I did in High School.
