Sex is funny because when you've never done it before past experimenting its the most exciting, adventurous and fantasy-escapist thing ever. And can be quite scary when you know are you close to getting some as you anticipate the build up.
Then you actually have it, and it's the most overrated thing on earth :v: You'll almost take it for granted and it goes from being the highest form of intimacy to one of the lower forms after a while. Which isn't all that bad, because a relationship being held up only by sex as the main way to being intimate isn't much of a relationship at all. I don't think it's really possible to get into that mindset truely inside and outside until you've had sex enough times for it to become something nice and good rather than the greatest thing on earth IMO.

you might not think that's bad advice but it is bad advice. sexuality is an important part of a healthy relationship and you won't figure yourself out if you hold back and make up some toff attitude about sex. there's quite an aura of sexism to it as well because he's supposedly 18 yet has had sex with a couple of people. not chastity by any means, yet the standard needs to apply to his "future wife".

I honestly dont know. As of now, in a couple months chances would be that wed be relaxing in the warm weather sun together, not to mention visiting each other throughout the fall semester. I just dont understand why she cannot wait a little more. I understand its very hard, a long distance relationship, because is really hard on me too and yes it has even depressed me, but i always tried to make it easier for her. We vidchat everyday, txt 24/7, etc. I lost count of the hours of sleep i lost staying up for her.

I lost my virginity about two or three weeks ago. It's really funny, stupid guys think they'll be all good from porn but it's really trial and error the first time. A bit awkward, but whatever. I found it fun.

I think you both are taking it a bit extreme. One thing is though, no matter if the partners do or do not have sex, it is all about both of them agreeing on this. It's stupid to say "HURR DURR YOU NEED SEX", just as much as it's to say "HURR DURR, SEX MAKES YOU SHALLOW". At the end of the day (week/decade), you'll somehow have sex and the main thing is that both you and the partner will enjoy it.
If either partners are denying another's interest in it, there is something unhealthy in the relationship, though. Including lack of trust, which is something I like to stress a lot due to previous experience.
