I mean, the most frustrating thing about dating someone underaged is that I know he has hormones and he has at least enough maturity to deal with those feelings, you know? Multiple times daily, my mind will be doing its normal thing when the thought chain goes from:
Current activity->Association with memory of event->Association with Ex->Minor nausea->Rapid buildup of rage->self control kicks in and I change subject in my head.
Its really quite annoying.

Whats interesting about these age differences is if you added 10 years to either party's age, it'd be totally fine. Hell, 5 years and it'd be fine.
I gotta agree though someone that young? thats just... too much of a difference right now. I know you like her and all, but you gotta let her grow up some and decide what she wants to do with her life a little before you enter into that kind of relationship. At this point you are directly affecting her social maturation and you may have an adverse affect on said maturation simply because she's so young.
not to mention the obvious legal issue if you two get... "adventurous". I'm not sure what country you are in, but in the US, if you two get caught being adventurous? you're dead. Her parents can press statutory rape charges on you, as well as sex with a minor, and if they can they'll get child endangerment as well and God knows what else. The pile of legal shit will be so large that you will likely never be done with it for the rest of your life.
As for this girl I'm interested in... she was a freshman when I was a senior in highschool. We're 2.5 years apart as it is and personally I'd love if something happened there between us. Only issue I have with it is being a distraction to school and the fact that she's a minor and I'm not. Then there is the social stigma attached to me dating someone in highschool still. -sigh- goddamnit brain, why'd you have to go and do that?

As for you guys dating underage people... when the person is underage by a few months, I only ever suggest people avoid dating still to protect themselves. Too many times I have heard of guys dating just under the legal age and then the girl gets mad and cries rape, or the parents find out and report it, whatever.
For a few years difference, like an 18 year old dating a 13 year old... guys, he/she is still a kid. You're doing it wrong.
