acid can be your best friend or your worst enemy the first time. It last several hours so don't think your going to take it (lol if you can find it to begin with, but if your in highschool it shouldnt be to difficult) and expect to see rainbows and dragons. Depending on how many hits you take; colors will be more vibrant, you will notice non existent patterns everywhere, and a all around euphoric feeling. Or if you are in a negative state of mind or experiencing depression, stress, or anxiety you will "trip out". Covered in spiders, seeing demons, crazy shit etc. Although with a lover idk, take a trip and let us know how it went. How bad of an idea is it to tell my girlfriend that I don't want to go to prom at all? She understands why and all, but she really wants to go. She'll end up going with or without me and will enjoy it, I'm sure. Her mother dislikes her being with me though, and it would win me some points with her. I'm torn. I would also lose two weeks of earnings from my job. Probably more.
For a couple hours in a school-censored pseudo-rave. Without the promise of parties afterwards due to our parents. I don't like dressing up or dancing very much.
So the two positives are that she would enjoy it more and her mom and friends would think more highly of me.

still though, when I was in high school, I would definitely have forked out the money from whatever job to make my girlfriend happy and impress her mom and friends, whether you like dancing or not. and you won't look back in a couple decades and go "wow, it probably would have been gay, but I can't believe I just didn't go to prom, especially since I had a date"
I enjoyed the 2 proms we had, one time we just danced all night and the other everybody was absolutely drunk as the teachers kept buying us drinks :v:

Bunch of dudes did that at my formal. Got pissed and had heaps of fun.
Nobody had dates here, if you had a partner you'd probably sit with them or hang around for a bit, but it was basically a big social gathering.
Guess the states are more formal about this kind of thing.
Well, can't say I know myself. I didn't have reason to go there, and when I was passing it looked kinda meh. But hey, everyone have their interests/opinions.
