I'm completely the opposite. Apparently a couple of my uni friends flirt with me and I have somehow never noticed this and my girlfriend teases me about it and finds it funny. She doesn't care at all and jokes about it as long as I don't flirt back. I also find it funny when guys hit on her, I know she would never act on it and she would tell me stories about it, it's quite funny.
Because she's Indian and I'm white a lot of Indian/Arab men (they are the seediest mother fuckers) will constantly stare at us when we are out having dinner or doing whatever. Of course they are wondering why she's going out with a white man haha.
goin out for a meal with my girlfriend tonight. think i need to have a little chat about something
oh wednesday night i went out with a drink for her, then we parted ways for a couple of hours while i drank more with my friends and she with hers, then we were gonna meet in a club later that night
so when i left her she'd had one bottle of wine between her and her friend which i know she can handle just fine. within an hour her texting had deteriorated pretty awfully. i wasn't that worried though - she's an adult and she drinks on a regular basis and can look after herself
about this time though i start getting loads of calls from her sister and mum who are mega worried about her and want me to help find out where she is. at the time this didn't seem odd to me because i was pretty drunk. after calling my girlfriend many times (she makes very little sense) i manage to find out roughly where she is and her mum drives out, finds her, and takes her home
the next day though, looking at this situation, it's really odd. if i or anyone else i knew didn't reply to texts for an hour (bare in mind it's only about 10pm and this is a night we were planning to spend in a club so she wouldn't be home until about 3am anyways) then there wouldn't have been a search party out to find them
so maybe something has happened in her past? or there's something about her personality i don't quite understand yet? but whatever i feel like i'm being left in the dark about something important so i need to ask

Probably because asking someone out can be pretty difficult. From what I have read it gets easier (I have asked 2 girls out in my life, so I'm not really sure, the idea still scares me shitless) but especially if it is the first few times, no matter how certain you are they will say yes it is terrifying. If you can get over that and do it, well done to you.
