Moderating is more than just posting with a pretty green name and bigger avatar. On a forum as big as this, it'd require reading almost every active thread in the category and discussing with other mods on what to do about Thread X while a flame war is arising in Thread Y which you're gonna want to pour water on it before doing anything, and shit like that. I only read half the threads anyways.

If something seems interesting, I read it. As for the responsibility, yeah, it seems like a lot, but then again, most things require a large amount.
