I'd say the majority of the people in this thread want mod, well, just to say they're a mod.

They're focused more on the glam of being a mod rather than the job aspect, which is pathetic. I'd say 95% of the people who applied would have no chance of successfully moderating the facepunch section, and would end up just like vent. i don't think they really have any clue what they're expected of, yet they post and post in here like hezzy owes them mod or something.

I wouldn't worry about it though. You know those who don't deserve it won't be getting the position, so to even bring it up is pointless. We all know a lot of people view it as more of a "Social Class" rather than a job to perform. But it's easy to tell who views it that way and who doesn't.
