I don't understand why he keeps choosing old 1950-1980 movies instead of either the updated or newer films. I'm not saying I don't agree with him on some of the movies, I just don't understand why he ignores so many others.
He covered it pretty extensively. I mean could you honestly pick out a legit modern vampire movie that feels like an actual fully fledged vampire movie like the older ones do? Sure he probably missed a few but I have to say, nowadays there just aren't any legitimate straight up horror movies anymore.
When he listed alien movies as one of the categories I knew he was going to either pick Alien or Carpenter's The Thing
there are no better alien horror movies than these two, at least none I've ever heard about.

They share a really heavy isolation element coupled with excellent creature design and that's what sets them apart from the rest for me.
It's kind of a pretty shitty video. He didn't think about it before hand and then present his arguments later. He literally went into this totally unprepared, rambled in front of the camera and it was just sloppy and terrible. It's like, I get you want to show us how you reached the decision. But how about you actually reach one first, then tell us. Rather than us having to watch the whole thought process and then making THAT the video. It's stupid and terrible it makes the video just 'hmm I dunno maybe well um yeah I guess but actually not really because'

I see what you mean, but I kinda liked watching him argue with himself and get to a conclusion. I was thinking WITH him through the entire video, and I really enjoyed that.
