A lot of them I've had have ether been numbers or words I've never heard of.
And I know of a lot of words.
they should have just a picture of a common person where you have to just spell the name of the person.
Ex: Hitler
Things like jdownloader can get past those captchas
I remember when Rapidshare started using these, then they decided they were too easy to crack and invented what I call the farm animal captcha. Basically there were letters, and animals, and the usual squiggles and shit. You had to decipher the word by looking at which letters where inside cats.
It was fucking incredible.

Yeah that was the thing.
I couldn't actually figure out which of them were dogs and which were cats
You even know how bots solve these? They put the CAPTCHA they want to solve on a bunch of porn sites and record the results. ReCAPTCHA gets around that by having millions of CAPTCHAs. Plus you help improve OCR.
I like it when the code generated is
R0f3O1I
Make one that bots can get right. Then make it so you have to get it wrong to actually enter the site.

Then, two minutes later, someone develops a plugin that tells when the bot is supposed to get input right and when it's supposed to get input wrong
I hate these things, This one site I tried to register on had one, I put in the exact words and it kept saying it was wrong.
