I jizzed a little bit when they showed him aiming around while prone. Those animations look absolutely amazing. I also like how the aim is entirely up to the player, none of this horseshit "hurr the reticle is bigger when you're moving around crap." This way, if you miss, it's your fault and not the weapon's.
It feels like they are trying to incorporate a more 'cinematic' feel to the game to aspire towards casuals. I hope it doesn't have the same outcome as what happened to Splintercell Double Agent and Conviction when trying to make the game more cinematic. The engine looks heaps better, I just hope that the writing and graphic novels in the game are written by Sam Lake or are in the same tier.
My body is not ready.
At first I really really hated MP3 because of the whole "Max Payne is bald now, time to go full shooter on this!" but after watching this video I'm kind of more on the liking side. Will definitely be on the look out for more videos for this!
I'm definately buying this.
I think I came
Welp, Rockstar has the most amazing trailers ever and i will probably end up buying this, i watched all of RDR's trailers and they are fucking amazing.
2:30 His face, holy shit, Euphoria, Bullet time and real gore? Oh shittttttt
damn that looks good.
I'm confident now. Just do not fuck up the PC version god damn it
It definitely shows they've spend a lot of time making animations for the different models.
The fact that they said GTA V will be even MORE advanced than this blows my mind. And this is still why I firmly believe animation is probably one of, if not the most important graphical aspect of a game.
Rockstar, you have done it again. Forgiveness for your shitty PC port for GTA4 is granted. I don't know of any company that can rival R* when it comes to making games work and look beautiful, except maybe Bethesda and Valve.
