I can tell you from personal experience. Being both under and over a car is fucking painful and no fun at all. You have no idea what part of your body has been fucked until they tell you, because you're strung out. The days after are spent in serious pain and the recovery isn't confined to just your wounds. Your muscles ache, your bones creak and your balance is fucked.
Psychological consequences for me became constant paranoia around motorized vehicles and serious cringing when watching a video like that.

I've been hit on two separate occasions, sherlock.
I was under when i was like 8 or something. Broke my foot and had minor skull fracture.
Second time, i was 17. I got taken by a taxi going 50Mph on a 30Mph street. I was crossing at the designated spot to do so and he took me to town. I spent a month in hospital. You're totally strung out for the first 6 hours after getting struck. I couldn't even remember my social security number. After hours i started to remember myself... and felt the pain. I'm still having a load of shit with my knees to this day.
I went almost all the way through the windscreen with my head and then flew along and fractured my thigh on a lamp post. Then must have landed on my face, since the front of my knees were virtually pulverized. Of cours i was out before i ever hit the windscreen. I learnt this from the people who saw it.
