Excellent movie.
[sp]I hated the part where the dad gets zombied though:[/sp]
I cried :frown:
I love this movie. I think I've only seen the first one for some reason, I should really watch the other one.
this movie was the start of the 'running zombies'/'Zombie-ism is virus-related' trend.
I hate it for that, But i love the movie.

Running zombies creeped the fuck out of me.
28 weeks later was total shit, except for the first scene.
28 days later is a fucking masterpiece of the cinema arts.
This is such a stupid argument, just let people call them whatever they want to call them.
Obviously you didn't bother reading my other post. I clearly said that calling them 'zombies' or 'infected' is up to your own opinion.

Sunshine is such an underrated movie, it deserved better.
Some scenes were damn intense, such as Capa's jump, and the soundtrack was also one of the best movie scores I've heard (What else can we expect from a musical genius like John Murphy?).

Seriously. Sunshine was so much better than 28 Days Later I thought. It's now my most watched movie ever. The soundtrack, the story, the symbolism within the story, the acting. Everything was superb in that movie. 28 Days Later kinda made me go "eh" but it was still good.
Sunshine is absolutely not better than 28 Days, it's not even close. Sunshine was just pretty good, and up until the end, when it became awful. Seriously, it was one of the worst endings or "twists" I've ever seen.
28 Days Later is infinitely better and I can't fathom anyone stating that something as overrated and only HALFWAY good as Sunshine is better. Seriously. Yeah the music is great and everything is pretty good up until it turns a 180 degree angle into retardation.
Yeah, as I said before, the ending was total shit, and while I like Sunshine and all, 28 Days Later is infinitely better.
Also, someone was making a 28..Later mod for Crysis, called "28 Months Later".

But of course, it died.
Am I the only one who enjoyed Weeks as much as Days? :ohdear:
Am I the only one who enjoyed Weeks as much as Days? :ohdear:
i guess you are
I liked Weeks but it kinda missed the feeling from Days.
Like, "HELLO!? ANOBODY!?".
Y'know.
Great movie I have to admit I still jump at some parts
Damn that was a good movie... Scared me when it was new.

That picture looks similar to the level where the illusive man sits in Mass Effect 2.

Dont think it has, but it hasnt even started pre production that I know off. Its a long way off, im not even sure if it has even been officially announced anywhere either. Its just the director saying he wants to do a 28 months, and it should come eventually.
And yeh thats Danny Boyle. One of my favourite directors.
28 Days, Trainspotting, Slumdog, The Beach etc... Has made some really good movies.
He also often uses John Murphy as his composer for his films, of which, the soundtracks are always top notch and fit each picture perfectly.
28 Days was definately better than 28 weeks, I think its pretty evident that Boyle only directed Days and not Weeks. Not that weeks wasnt enjoyable, its just the first had that real sense of isolation and the struggle to survive. The empty scenes of london were so eery and awesome, not to mention the underlying meaning behind the film that we ourselves are no better than these things or animals, and when pushed to the limits, humans will resort to anything.
28 Weeks just seemed, sorry to put it, 'americanised'. Lots of guns and fancy explosions with america attempting to save the day. Although I still enjoyed it, and thought the main soldier's character was really good to watch (cant remember his real or movie name).
Is there going to be a Third movie?
Am I the only one who is annoyed by the fact that everyone calls them zombies? They aren't "zombies" they're infected. But none the less, it is still a great movie.
are you really that much of a fucking nerd
Is there going to be a Third movie?
Probably but not by Danny Boyle.
Danny Boyle is a God
Wait, wait, wait... The movie to end the trilogy of 2 other great movies, where the WHOLE EURASIA ANS MAYBE AFRICA gets infected was canceled?
FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUCK.
Also I wish Naomie Harris had nudes :jerkbag:
I rewatched it after left4dead was released
it made it 10x better.
the scene where he was in the church and he called out, and those two zombies jumped up and glared at him scared the fuck out of me.
Am I the only one who wouldn't want to see Two and a half years after the original infection unless it got somewhere besides the UK?
They should call it "28 Hours Later" instead.
If they're continuing the kid's story, that is.

The kid is either dead or a zombie.
Dead maybe, but he can't be a zombie.
He's immune, or a carrier, whatever.
