I really enjoyed W:TNO but I wasn't feeling the jewish technology idea and the lack of supernatural elements.
I really enjoyed W:TNO but I wasn't feeling the jewish technology idea and the lack of supernatural elements.
yeah the "jews invented everything ever" was really dumb, but the rest was super fun.
yeah the "jews invented everything ever" was really dumb, but the rest was super fun.
I thought it was kind of a cool idea, offered an explanation to the technology that wasn't exactly just 'kraut space magics', and gave the Nazis some irony. I think if they went supernatural it'd throw off the feel of the world.
wow! good thing there's a mod to turn off dof while setting everything to high.
A mod doesn't make the port less bad. It just slaps a bandage on it. Sure, you can slap DSFix on Dark Souls, but the port's still unbelievable shit.

I think the idea that the Nazi's just prioritized science and engineering and made numerous breakthroughs, enough to stall and eventually turn around the war, would have been sufficient. If it's either or though I would definitely prefer Da'at Yachud to the supernatural of RTCW.
I went into Wolfenstein TNO near blind. I didn't follow any of the hype, marketing, ads, anything for it. Such a genuine surprise and so much fun to play. I thought the [sp]Jewish super technology[/sp] was just fun.
If you're a gamer, you're missing out a lot of great experiences.
Bayonetta 2, Shadow of Mordor and This War of Mine look alright. Wolfenstein is the only one I really can say I want.
Bayonetta 2, Shadow of Mordor and This War of Mine look alright. Wolfenstein is the only one I really can say I want.
Bayonetta 2 is amazing. It's named best spectacle fighter of all time by many people and for a damn good reason. If you like DMC/DMC style games, you should absolutely love Bayonetta 2.
I found the whole atmosphere/soundtrack/identity of Transistor to be just alive and gorgeous. Definitely deserves to be on Top 10.
Only problem I had with Wolfenstein was the disappointing weapon selection. After hearing all this hubub about dual wielding assault rifles, I expected more weapon variety that the usual pistol, shotgun, and assault rifle (and there's the energy gun that was underpowered). The sniper rifle felt like a wasted slot. The gun play was still great, but I would love to see more unconventional weapons if they make a follow up. Give me a nail gun or concussive blast gun (like from F.E.A.R.) or something. There's already advanced tech in the story, let me use it. Also, I don't know if it was just my setup, but the sound was a mess on the PS3 version. Piloting the mechs were really underwhelming when there's almost no sound. It's still one of the best games this year, but I don't agree it's the best. TB's right on the money with Bayo 2, tho.
Where can I find Fibbage for PC, I don't have an Xbone or PS4 but I do have a media PC in my lounge?
Too bad that he hasn't played Talos Principle
I don't think that's the type of game he'd enjoy to be fairly honest.
I found the whole atmosphere/soundtrack/identity of Transistor to be just alive and gorgeous. Definitely deserves to be on Top 10.
The only thing I didn't like about Transistor was the story. It tried way too hard to be mysterious and had all the characters speaking in unnecessarily vague terms. Like you find a few audio logs of one of the bad guys talking about the other, but he refuses to mention any details at all, which wouldn't happen if someone was writing a journal entry for their self.
