Im writing an angrily worded letter to the dutch side.
I can't believe we were second in the world championship only 2 years ago. Marwijk really fucked up badly.
It's games like this that make me proud of being Portuguese! Great game! And we had so many great opportunities.
The Dutch gave us an excellent challenge though, but I think they kinda died off during the second part.
It's a pity cause everybody had great expectations about them.
Anyway. Congratulations to the Dutch too. It was an excellent match!

Holland seemed to have lost the will to play after they suffered the 1st Goal. They started to decrease their pace and their defence was terrible. After the second Goal I think they didn't even try anymore. That's not a very good atitude because they really had a chance when playing like they were playing in the beginning of the match.
Today is another nice final: If Croatia wins against Spain and Italy wins against Ireland, Spain is out.:v:

we don't qualify because we're a country of 5mil. we have a shit league, that creates shit players. and we don't invest enough money in player development.
england is a country of 60+ million, with one of the best leagues in the world, and the money to develop players.
expecting us to qualify would be asking a lot. england however, SHOULD be doing better than they do. their leagues generates billions of pounds, yet they are incapable of doing better than quarter finals

hey man, it not just the facilities, you need the talent too.
look at brazil/argentina, they dont have big leagues or great facilities, they have raw talent
Spain won 1-0 and so did Italy.
