Hope Italy rips Rooneys ugly hair-transplant off his head and throws it in the bin.
Sweden played an awesome match, but didn't get any further, for shame..
I have to admit, the ball was through the line.

What a surprise that this is your opinion, coming also from Scandinavia.
Fucking.
FUCK.
Fuck Sepp Blatter. Bastards only won due to Ukraine being denied a goal that could EASILY have been called as in with simple goal line technology.
Absolutely LIVID.

I also can't deny that it absolutely went over the line. Still, I'm glad we won all the same

uh, what? sweden did play a great game against france, i think the results show that
really shows what we (sweden) can achieve when we want to
giving england 1st place in the group, youre welcome

So you didn't really want to win against England? :v:
they played really bad, and didnt do anything right against england
also, ibrahimovic's goal might be one of the most beutiful goals so far
Sorry to be the bringer of bad news for everyone wishing the goal was given.
Milevskiy was offside during the build up
To me if the ball doesn't touch the ground and the player that gets it out isn't inside the line when he does so then it shouldn't be a goal. It would be too technical to do otherwise and would make these unpredictable situations as fun to watch as grass growing.

to be honest, that sounds dumb as hell
of course it should be a goal if it crosses the line even if its in the air

SCRATCH THAT! In the video at 0:06 was the off-side.
I dunno doesn't look offside in that picture

OFFSIDE and NO GOAL, yet they still moan. Why don't you kick another ball in the opposite team's face, sure that'll help you a lot in life.
This is going to go on into the night, isn't it?
Glad that Sweden went out with a bang. Here's hoping they do well in the World Cup.
And, of course. ENGLAAAAAAAAAND!
That was a goal! What's with the crappy linesmen? Ukraine deserved that goal.
not sure if posted but he was offside

So if a goalkeeper makes a 180 degree turn after catching the ball and the ball happens to appear across the line but still in his hands even though the goalkeeper is still outside would you classify that as a goal?
OFFSIDE and NO GOAL, yet they still moan. Why don't you kick another ball in the opposite team's face, sure that'll help you a lot in life.
Absolutely this. Everybody seems to be forgetting that it was actually offside.

it was over the line but he was offside, if you want everything to be fair then he wouldn't even of had the chance to score.

yes, because its over the fucking line
also thanks sweden now we don't have to play spain :>

In that case it must be one of me most boring goals that can be scored in football. Zooming into the grass would be just as fun to see as watching the replay.

what? you dont watch football that often, do you?
Lads, the sewer lid predicted the match right.
what? you dont watch football that often, do you?
I watch more basketball than football, I guess I'm more accustomed to the rules they use there.
If the whole of the ball crosses the line then it's a goal it's as 'simple' as that, it does not matter how so long as it's done legally.
But in this context, the player was offside during the build up to the goal, he came from an offside position to an onside position to get the ball. The whistle should have been blown long before the 'goal'.
