Didn't you love the Ref interference 20 minutes into extra time?
Also, glad to see Spain in the finals. I love watching them play. They pass so well.
If its them vs Germany, I think it'll be veeeeerry interesting.
Protugal didn't take the last penalty?
Fuck Platini.
Ronaldo didn't even shoot lol.
He kind of deserves it he fucked up EVERY shot he made on the whole 120 minutes.
It's probably going to be SPA - GER again
Goddamnit. And it was Portugals fault too. They missed three goddamn chances. At least they could've shot it on target and not send the ball into fucking space.

I'm hoping germany wins it this time though
Spain - Germany in the final, book it. It will also be a dour game because the teams will cancel each other out.

Considering how Spain played this game I'll say Germany is in way better conditions for the final. Nonetheless, Spain now not only has a rest day, but also a chance to see Germany's strategy against the Italians.
Cause god DAMN, Germany haven't lost or even tied ONE game out of 13 games played, including 10 qualification matches and 3 in the actual Euro 2012.
Worst game I've watched for ages. I'm done with Spain, this playstyle is horrible to watch.
Let us beat Italy and give Spain what they deserve.

Germany has won 15 official matches in a row, should make it 17 or even more.
What a culture. #football

I think Portugal vs Spain was an excelent match. As a portuguese I'm quite pleased with our progress but it was an excelent match none the less.
Nice play from Portugal.
Ronaldo has a lot of chance to shoot, to bad he misses.
And, I see Portugal players have a lots of yellow cards D:
Hahaa everyone from Portugal dives, get up gaynaldo, you aren't making a film!
Ronaldo didn't even shoot lol.

but... they didn't get there so lol

I really don't see where people get the idea that watching a team pass a ball around their defence is enjoyable. Even watching Stoke play is more enjoyable.

I guess the tactic is to give the audience the impression that they have control while boring the opposite team. When the opposite team is half asleep they all run like a cretins and hope that they can score one before the goalkeeper who is now in a catatonic state wakes up.

Good point, it does have some tactical implications, I read somewhere that Barcelona use the passing to their psychological advantage. By playing simple 4 yard passes they essentially make their passing stats look impressive and intimidate their opponents into sitting back with the ball and therefore play into Barça's game plan.
Spain have been trying this in the Euros, but in my opinion they are really missing David Villa.
Without knowing what happened, let me guess.
Penalty Shootout, Ronaldo missed.
Correct?
Ronaldo didn't even take a penalty.
So the Portugal manager is genuinely retarded?
It's not really clear, Ronaldo says that Bento made him the fifth penalty taker.
How could you, in good mental health, put your best player last when you should know full well that there's a likely chance that won't happen.

I know, you should put your best penalty takers first because the other team might screw up and you might have a chance of winning it before you have to use your worse pen takers. Why they put Ronaldo last I will never understand.

they lost 4-2 on penalties not 5-4.
Löw should come along with this formation (didn't find another good lineup creator than fifa):

Schweinsteiger was disappointing in several matches, he's too much hyped anyway and hat several bad passes in Germanys own half which can be dangerous against Italy.
Bender would clearly make a good defensive midfielder while Khedira would be on the front move to the box.
Höwedes+Hummels is my personal defense wish for the next years along with Boateng and Lahm.
Reus and Müller would put a lot of effort to deliever Klose who as well plays with the team instead of standing around like Gomez.
And Özil is, what we need. A creator who can make a nice pass through the Italian wall like Pirlo for example on the other side.
Ugh, sucks that we have to watch Spain pass it around for another 90 minutes in the final.
they lost 4-2 on penalties not 5-4.
I know and in this case it wouldn't have made a difference but in other cases it might. Had Ronaldo gone second or third and scored and one other guy not missed it might have gone to sudden death.
I don't know what's the big hate about Ronaldo other than But hurt.
I mean, people accuse him of diving a lot but the player who most dives in Portugal is Nani. Ronaldo had an excellent performance and everytime he fell this Euro he just kept on going. During spain he suffered real hard faults and kicks and he still stood and kept on going.
If you want to talk about professional divers in Portugal, yeah, there are some. I'm the first to admit as Portuguese that there were some ridiculous dives from Nani throughout the Euro.
Now Ronaldo being the world's best football player is relative, I understand.
And I too understand how that generate discussions and doubts.
Now saying he's gaynaldo and he plays like shit? Damn. I think you're speaking with your belly's full, mates.
Ronaldo is an example as player and person to us all. He started from scratch, lived in the poorest place in Portugal, with misery around him. All he had was football so he took it knowing the risks.
The guy started with nothing.
Now how many of you guys that were born with more things and opportunities than Ronaldo accomplished what he has accomplished?
He may or may not be the best player in the World. I can live with that. Now he is were he is thanks to him alone and nobody else.
He's also human too, so he has flaws. Flaws that idiots like to take advantage of because now that he is where he is, he's the center of attention and people expect a lot from him. Even the impossible.
So I just don't get it. What's the excuse for idiotic commentaries about Ronaldo and the Portuguese Team when we stood up to Spain and were defeated with honor and our heads help up high. We reached the semi final and we always go far in every championship.
I don't get it. What's the excuse for being a fucking idiot about Portugal when we should all comment here with a healthy attitude towards other teams?
you know what i really hate, nani is a great player, he showed it a lot last night, and as a United fan, Im really glad we have him.
but he dives way too much, it's horrible to watch a player go down and you know he is diving, especially when he is on your team.
