I wonder if it also has to do with him blasting music out of his new car?

What does the landlord have to do with that?
To put it in a basic way, he doesn't owns the streets.
The streets are owned by that sweet ass Micra. Theres no gettin' them back.

I'm sure a lot of the locals witnessed several of Pewdiepie's colourful outings and were terrified, assuming that he was some kind of ultra-chav who had recently won the lottery. They wouldn't have understood that Pewds was doing things ironically or mocking himself during those trips outside.
I still maintain that it was the screaming in my posted link that was the specific trigger for the throwing out though. The landlord incident happens immediately after that moment and the fact that landlord was laughed at, called a p**ick and told by his tenant "don't push MY door" did not help at all.
Hopefully Pewds' new place is in a younger and more colourful neighbourhood.
Not a big fan of pewdiepie but what a shitty situation. This is one of my worst nightmares that this would happen to me and my gf even though we're barely loud.
Seems like he found a nice new place, best to him.
I live in Brighton too and can confirm from my experiences that there are plenty of dreadful landlords around.
I wish he was my neighbour - makes far less noise than my current...
rip
Thats fucking shitty. At least its just his office.

holy shit that landlord is gonna get lynched, the guy has over 40 million fans
fuck off with that sunbather wallpaper i will not accept pewdiepie having an actual taste for good music

i'm finding it harder to hate this guy by every day
He has been using h3h3productions meme lately, also he usually mentions idubbbz and filthyfrank here and there. Nowadays i enjoy his videos and watch him daily, because he uses some of the stuff we see here on facepunch (loud music, triggered meme etc). He has come to the point where he just doesnt feels cringy anymore.
that landlord was a monumental cunt. pretty sure a landlord pulling a stunt like that is grounds to take them to court. being verbally assaulted by them is definitely not alright.
No clue about laws in the UK, but landlords calling their clients faggots is surely against something, no?
No clue about laws in the UK, but landlords calling their clients faggots is surely against something, no?
I threatened to take my landlord to court because within a week of moving into my apartment, I discovered the place was riddled with mould that they'd done their best to cover (I didn't spot it as a result during viewing). They were basically being dicks saying I'd signed a year contract with them and I was shit outta luck, they got the estate agent to try and scare me into not making a big deal as well, but the minute I threatened taking them to court, they released me from that contract so quick. I got the local health authority around to force them to fix their shit so the next tenant wasn't screwed over like I was, I started developing a really bad cough from how damp and mouldy it was. I guess it's not exactly the same as verbal assault, since this is more health hazard territory, but I don't doubt that in the UK you could take your landlord to small claim's court and annihilate them - especially with video evidence of them doing it.
It sucks ass that his landlord was acting like a total cunt, but it's good to see he's in a better situation and can even humor the whole ordeal.
My brother, who's a partial fan of Pewdiepie, said that if the dude really wanted to rub this in the landlord's face, he could probably easily write a check for the price of the building in its entirety, show it to the landlord and make it clear who he just kicked out given the circumstances and that he wouldn't ever see a single cent of that again before tearing it up and walking out.
Now the whole 'call the landlord a prick' thing was dumb on their part, you'd think they recognize the dude, but still, it seems a lot like the dude was just an irritable jackass. However we'll probably never actually know the guy's side of things and Pewdiepie's fans would sooner make the man's life miserable as 'revenge' on a whim, unfortunately.
Pewdiepie has never come across as an arrogant kind of guy, though. I doubt he'd ever be the type to flaunt his money openly, and record it for his fans to see as well. That'd be real bad publicity.

Yeah, given everyone disposition of him and his current status, I'm pretty surprised and impressed that he's not an asshole.
That landlord, though. Stupid and an asshole.
im like 99% sure the homophobia thing was a joke because he called them faggots
he more than likely doesn't actually think he's a homophobe
Still very unprofessional and rude. Dude can go fuck himself.
Yeah but he must realise that by spinning the story that way in his new video and on Twitter he is effectively raising an army of SJWs who will now try to track down and harass the landlord. People should picture their parents or grandparents and how they'd respond to that screaming fit Pewds had, I'd be willing to bet it would have been in a very similar way.
I'm not saying the landlord was right though. I suspect it was the being called a p**ck while he walked away that actually triggered the decision to throw Pewds and his people out, rather than the noise alone. Still a pretty mean-spirited thing to do, but not something that the guy should pay for via the kind of storm that an internet revenge machine can lead to.
he didn't spin the story in anyway related to homophobia, he just called the landlord out? I mean if someone calls you a faggot and you mention it, you're not spinning the story in some way. I didn't think for a second that Pewdiepie was trying to "spin the story" in anyway like that. It was a joke man, what, it was pretty clear Pewdiepie was being humorous and wasn't actually angry about that
Oh weird, didn't know he lived in Brighton!
Well if anything at this point it is very clear that the reason why he still did those awkward screaming jokes was just to please most of his fans but that he himself already grown out of it perhaps years ago. I want more content like this and the one of his car
are his fans really that mindless? as far as i can tell he's only made a few jokes, not as if he's instructing a legion of followers to ruin the dude's life
He made a video about being evicted. All he had to do is post on twitter saying there's going to be a short break in video releases while they move to a new office. And it's clear that pewdiepie is full of shit since he says that they never use that room and when they do, they try to be as quiet as possible but there he is on video screaming at the top of his lungs and flailing around hitting walls and the floor
That sucks but slamming the door in the face of your land lord is P dumb.
Pewdiepie has gotten alot more acceptable I don't mind him anymore over his circlejerk videos. I'm sure if he wanted to he could by the apartment complex out, but this is probably better for him to move somewhere that he can do his videos and VR better

If you're a land lord when a complaint is happening(of any kind) you should always act professional. If I called someone a faggot at work I would expect to be fired.
No clue about laws in the UK, but landlords calling their clients faggots is surely against something, no?
It's a bit more complex when the place wasn't actually used for living.
That sucks but slamming the door in the face of your land lord is P dumb.
They didnt know it was the landlord. I mean if someone i dont know came to my door, comes leaning on my doorway and calls me a faggot, i'd slam the door too.
I don't hear faggot when the subtitles says he says faggot
[editline]20th June 2016[/editline]
However he was being a loud, obnoxious faggot so he kind of deserved it
Woo dat Sunbather background.
Honestly if he got the eviction notice before the warning he could've disputed that.
There are laws that protect tenants and they are very in the tenants favour here in the UK.
But hey it didn't bother him that much right so whatever.
Shit if you were PewdiePie, and have several million in your bank account I'm guessing and the owner of the office you were renting came by and called you faggots and a prick and sent you an eviction notice the day after the single noise complaint, which came from him so basically he's doing it because he's pissed.... Would you be bothered about moving? I wouldn't either, good riddance. They made a fun day out of it even. I wish my life was that good
They didnt know it was the landlord. I mean if someone i dont know came to my door, comes leaning on my doorway and calls me a faggot, i'd slam the door too.
I agree but being a landlord doesn't give you the rights to be calling your tenant a faggot

He clearly explained what he was doing and even recorded it. If you are going to bandwagon PDP then please realize he is a completely different person since what he was. I think he is now less caring about reaction vids and actually putting effort into things like vinesauce and such
I lived with a YouTuber for two years; it was miserable. Always in his room, yelling his head off at his video games, drinking all the time, blasting music and being an overall entitled prick. And in his videos, he was 1/10th as flamboyant as PewDiePie is. I can totally see why a landlord would want a YouTuber like PewDiePie kicked out. This video is only one side of the story.
