If I'd get this, I'd probably commit suicide.
You won't have time.
If i'd catch this, I'd just ask for a pill that'd give me a happy dream and kill me :) .
Yeah, they'd be too busy sealing you in quarantine
Shit like this is why I want to be a Pathologist if Biomedical Engineering doesn't work out for me.
Wait, So this is basically transmitted like Swine flu? Except that you don't propably sneeze so much when you have ebola.
Does it spread through period blood too? Just asking.
Only cure is bullet to the head. Id do it.
._.
Those images are pretty unsettling, but not as bad as Fournier gangrene. I still cross my legs when I hear that name.
I google imaged that. My eyes.... cannot unsee....
Um...how do you AVOID getting ebola?
Easily. If you weren't so illiterate you'd already know.
If you're pretty much bleeding EVERYWHERE, then shouldn't it be pretty fucking easy to catch? :downs:
Not nearly as easy as if it was able to survive in the air. Stop trying to horde agrees
If I'd get this, I'd probably commit suicide.
it takes 2 days to kill you, and is hard to diagnose by then [editline]01:45AM[/editline]
If you're pretty much bleeding EVERYWHERE, then shouldn't it be pretty fucking easy to catch? :downs:
it's transfered by fluids. And only in africa. Except for Reston, Virginia, in the 1980's
I read The Hot Zone when I was ten.
I heard that just as your muscles are being dissolved that you have HUGE spasms and flail around really hard and so you rip yourself apart like your exploding... :geno:
I google imaged that. My eyes.... cannot unsee....
Same :geno:
Um...how do you AVOID getting ebola?
You pay Garry 1000 dollars and demand a refund. Then you start crying.
To comfort all of you there is no cure for Ebola virus.
Bullshit, it's a virus. Unless you are trying to just freak him out, then I guess I ruined the joke.
This boy doesn't know biology. Please study what a viruss is then come back to this thread.
If I'd get this I would cut my hand and run around smearing blood on everyone while yelling "SURPRISE EBOLA", and then I would shoot myself in the head in a way that would ensure blood flying on lots of people.

If it kills in three days ( for 90% ) and you get very clear symptoms very quickly, I would say that it can't go global very easily.

Can some one verify this is an accurate description? I am hoping not. Anyways it makes since that it is only transported by Africa's horrible water supply.
There is Ebola-vaccine being tested. Ebola is scary, but you should not worry about it. There are many other batshit-insane diseases like Marburg, Flesh-eating virus or plague. I have noticed that worrying about things makes your life worse.
Plague? You mean like Y. Pestis? That's mostly treatable with antibiotics, although there are some resistant strains. And you forgot about MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), which is also treatable with newer drugs but is mutating very quickly. [editline]12:56PM[/editline]
Is ebola non-existant in humans currently?
Ebola is very existent in humans. Only the airborne form is "non-existent in humans". [editline]01:07PM[/editline]
Does it spread through period blood too? Just asking.
Well, if you have it, you pretty much have a full-body period.
Quite freaky indeed. While were on the talk of viruses wasn't there one that could easily kill all the humans on earth if there was a epidemic. It could survive in space and was pretty much indestructible or something like that. or maybe it was the Ebola virus and i just remember it wrong.
"Ebolavirus" is actually an entire genus. That means there are different species of ebola, not just different strains. The Zaire species is the most fatal, followed by the Sudan species. The Reston species does not affect humans.
Well. If I ever catch Ebola, I know where a gun store is. Also another reason not to touch other people's blood, shit, get vomited on, or get pissed on. What if the Sniper gave the Spy Ebola from Jarate?
This boy doesn't know biology. Please study what a viruss is then come back to this thread.
What do you mean, Ebola is a Filovirus, it's not a "Genetic Disorder." Get your facts straight, as well as all the people that rated me dumb.
What if the Sniper gave the Spy Ebola from Jarate?
You would get the kill after 3 days. And if you are lucky the whole enemy team gets infected too.
What do you mean, Ebola is a Filovirus, it's not a "Genetic Disorder." Get your facts straight, as well as all the people that rated me dumb.
Just to clarify, it is a genus of its own in the Filoviridae family, not a species of the obsolete Filovirus genus.
