Looks more like a fantasy movie than a superhero movie. Not that I'm complaining.
Thor has always been a fantasy hero anyways.
I'm not interested in it, but damn, Eccleston looks... interesting: [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/TGdABB2.jpg[/thumb]
Holy shit that is an awesome Malekith. You've outdone yourself, Marvel Studios On another note, what the shit was going on in the beginning of that trailer?!?! Were Asgardians/Dark Elves fucking up the world or are the kids psychic?
Hope we get a mention of the light elves as well.
I'm not interested in it, but damn, Eccleston looks... interesting: [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/TGdABB2.jpg[/thumb]
He sorta looks like half of a Skrull in that picture.

Funny thing, I just finished watching Chronicle when they released the trailer. So I was wondering if the kids had telekineses.
the motivations for loki were shit and didn't make sense most of the time, especially since his goals changed every 2 seconds.
You're trying to rationalize Loki. That's your problem.
Film needs more Ken Brannagh. Thor was great fun so lets hope they don't just attack our eyes with FX for 2 hours with no character.
Looks much better than the first movie.
I thought the first movie was total shit. I'm not even a super comic fan. The outfits were aweful, the robot with the laser beam eye was dumb... (the ice giants were cool, but they weren't in the film much) the plot was boring. the avengers was pretty good for thor though. This one looks... like it could be good.
I'll agree, the script was awful, probably the worst of all Marvel movies. But I thought that cinematography looked nice. All scenes on Asgard were beautiful, and Hopkins', Hiddleston's and Elba's acting was really good. Considering that Kenneth Branagh is not directing this, I wouldn't get my hopes too high.
I don't think the script was the worst, it was just the simplest one and they made quite a few mistakes, as opposed to the more complex ones that were only bad when they went a little overboard (Iron Man 2 IMO), made a few bad decisions (Captain America with the [sp]laser guns and weird villain[/sp]) or were bad because of many other factors (hulk)
you should see the incredible hulk
Hey now. That movie had Ultimate Destruction car boxing gloves.
you should see the incredible hulk
Dull script is worse than stupid script. And about Captain America - it could be really great movie, if they would show more of Captain's actions on war, instead of few minutes long montage.
I really liked Thor. It was a typical story, sure. But I enjoyed it way more than Hulk and Iron Man 2. It was a good origin story. I went in knowing nothing about Thor and came out really liking it.
Some stills [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/6m8PzCa.jpg[/thumb]
Nice. Looking forward to this film.
Another trailer in a couple of days
Looks overfilled. And Heimdall just chooses to fly on fucking clouds. I read the last name as "Anthony and Hopkins as Odin"
i love loki's face "i'm so going to betray you, brotha"
I'm surprised that Eccleston hasn't received top billing.
I'm surprised that Eccleston hasn't received top billing.
He will on UK and some European posters. He's much lesser known in the US. Doctor Who really kicked off there some time after he had left.
Maybe there's twist: [sp]Eccleston dies in the first part of the movie, rest is Loki vs Thor again.[/sp]
Maybe there's twist: [sp]Eccleston dies in the first part of the movie, rest is Loki vs Thor again.[/sp]
Think I'd probably leave the cinema. I'm looking forward to Loki NOT being the main villain.
oh god that poster looks even worse, is it meant to be a nod to the 80s
aren't Iron Man and Iron Man 2's posters also really 80s ish? Much better than the first trailer. Now I can say I'm excited for this.
Trailer needs more Eccleston. He's the most exciting thing in this film for me.
