Great music when you're in the city really late. also:

for those who like their drone minus the doom (and very inaccessible):

You're on the money with that album. Very soothing.
don't know if that's the word I would use, but it's definitely a good in-bed-with-headphones album
good in-bed-with-headphones
Well yeah, but that's not a good description. :)

I've heard a few of the songs from this. I think I can finally say I found a The Microphones album that I've liked.
Now that I think about it Mount Eerie (the post The Microphones artist/band not the album) features totally blown-out guitars and lo-fi production like some of El-Ahrairah's work. Maybe not all of his work but at least many of his songs I've heard are like that. He sure makes some great night music.
With that all said, when I think about it I can't recall ever playing a album at night just because it's night.
How bout some drone, ambient, experimental stuff :v:

I looked that up because the cover looked cool, so I'm going to dl it and see if it's any good.
Thanks bro

Fleetwood Mac is an awesome band!
Sentimental Lady is also nice to listen to late.
Fascination by David Bowie is quite the song to listen to at night.

A good album at any time of the day, month, or year

The irony here is that I'm not much for techno, I just love the melody.
