It's 10 times better than this map thats for sure, and it offers less bias due to buildings and such.

The very olive drab clad soldiers begin advancing. The rifleman looks up at the sound of something screeching through the air
"WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT!?!"
"Less talking MORE RUNNING SOLDIER!" The leader yells "Run for the bunker!!!"
The three scouts begin sprinting towards the bunker.

The automated door to the bunker open immediately and the GTU squad steps to safety.
I recolored the map and removed the pretty crappy looking nukes (no offense) and edited the car on the highway and added some plants. I also recolored my guys and gave one a scout helmet (they are a recon team, after all)

The troops are wearing black outfits which seem to be specifically designed for stealth, though it's not very effective, the fact that they're high on a hill and crawling makes them hard to spot at the moment.
The front-most unit is equip with a silenced sniper rifle, whereas the back two have silenced SMGs, all of them are equipped with a knife, pistol, one smoke grenade and a radio each.

A couple of Kzer-Za tribesmen enter.
The pack leader tells his fellow pack members to halt (Telepathically).
"HALT! I SENSE CREATURES.
We should kill them, mother needs food.
Yes! If mother not get food, our tribe is lost!
NO. THEY MIGHT BE OF USE TO US, I SENSE THEY ARE INTELLIGENT."
The pack leader is armed with a spear which has a dangerous glowing hot tip, on a stick made from the strong home-tree.
The rest carry simple stone-age equivalent spears.
Leaders, recognisable by their red eyes, are the strongest of the Kzer-Za, even though Kzer-Za in general are very strong.
Backstory of Kzer-Za: (Sorry for naming them after Ur-quan, it just seemed fitting seeing they are very intelligent.)
After earth's nuclear war, lots of species went extinct, but some, like the Kzer-Za, mutated.
When the bombs fell, mutation occurred rapidly, and in this case, gave the Kzer-Za their large amount of sensory organs.
Kzer-za evolved from a rare intelligent reptilian, only found in the amazon rainforest.
The new world was a tough place to live in, so each generation grew larger and more advanced brains,
and through evolution, intelligence soon followed.
The Kzer-Za's main religion revolves around a strange object which crashed on earth 40 years after the war.
The object was glowing orange, and it fell at the time of the kzer-za's great plague, which also caused the extermination of most of their species.
The Kzer-za were able to manipulate it as they saw fit, create liquids and solids out of seemingly nothing, make the material glowing hot or icy cold,
soon they managed to cure the plague, but many deaths would still follow.
Wars were fought by the clans, and in the end, only a few survived.
Most of the material was lost, but some of it is still in possession of tribe leaders.

The soldiers saw the movement to the east, coupled with the rapid transformation of some of the men and the imminent meteor they snapped and opened fire on the horizon. Unfortunately for them the bullets quickly lost track of their targets over that distance, and hit everywhere EXCEPT their target. Dust was kicked up but other than that it was a very unsuccesful attempt, succeeding in only making enemies.
Meanwhile one of the soldiers spotted some more building from his vantage point and decided to check it out. The obvious thing would be to climb over, but thats way too mainstream for this cool kid.
The officer cuts the man down from the ropes disgruntedly and watches as he stirs for his AK-47 before speaking clear and perfect english.
"What the heck were you doing?!"
"What, who are you?"
"I'm a damn CIA agent!"
"So why were you speaking Arabic?!"
"How the heck was I supposed to know you were with America, listen to your damn accent!"
"Grr. Look, all I know is some serious shit has gone down and you are either with us or against us."
"What is that guy over there doi-"
"With us. Or against us."
The agent had a look of worry on his face and vacantly passed a yes to the officer whilst waiting for something to go horribly wrong.
As bullets fly overhead, the leading troop, who will now be referred to as 'Chief' grabs the sniper rifle besides him and sets it up on tripod, taking aim, behind him the other two begin digging a trench, dirt piles form besides.
"It looks like we've already got enemies."
