Unfortunately for the alien, mans natural instinct when a voice inside his head threatens to kill him is to run away in the opposite direction as fast as possible. The soldier leaps from the ledge, knocking over his comrade and probably saving his life from the sniper zeroeing in on them. The ground shot towards him and suddenly a wave of heat hit him in the face.
The charges exploded with relatively little power, just enough to get through the wall, make a cloud of dust and attract the attention of most of the people in a mile radius. The soldier simply crouched and looked directly towards the explosion, he was used to things like this.

An Orb-Matrix Scout Drone is deployed and begins scanning the landscape for sentient life as well as threats.
Background: The Orb-Matrix threat detection system was developed by an extinct alien species as a defense against oncoming threats. However, the main AI went rogue and tagged that species as a threat, and they were eliminated. The defense system still sends scouts to other planets, still following their prime directive.
Scout Drone: The scout drone does exactly what it's name suggests. The Scout drones scan the planet for organic life as well as threats. Like all of the forces of the Orb-Matrix, it features adaptive combat knowledge, yet it posses no weapons. In dire need, the Scout drone will commandeer enemy weaponry and even take over un-occupied vehicles to use in combat.
