A loud metal thumping noise is heard inside.

"Argh where the hell are we?"

The marker drone joins the formation. Detecting 3 different alien threats, the drones decide that their current position will make a better vantage point.

The soldiers opened their parachutes and were tugged from the plane, they fell across the battlefield - helpless whilst floating down. Of course there were advantages too, they had quickly got to the frontline and there were many more of us then there was of them.
The wounded soldiers screams fell to mumbles as the morphine kicked in and the commander pulled up an RPG from the armament stores. He looked over the battlefield and smiled at the familiar sight of the paratroopers raining down, whilst he looked for a target. The men that had just rapelled down took cover behind a bridge as they saw an enemy soldier and tried to gain the advantage of surprise.
The first paratroopers to touch down quickly dived into a pre-made crater to decide what to do, they were the lucky ones who jumped first - they weren't going to land in the face of some alien.

The missile drone fires a barrage of missiles at the incoming paratroopers. Attempting to hit a moving target did not go so well, and for all the missiles the drone fired, it could only manage to hit two soldiers. The rest of the missiles scatter and explode in mid-flight because they had no target.
I am not going to be able to declare tonight, please do not kill me whilst i'm sleeping. I will be able to declare tomorrow.
Also, I do not see why you asume hostility towards my forces ([B]NOT ALIENS[/B]). As a matter of fact, they haven't fired at you once.

I'm only firing at them because they are mobilizing to attack. I can only guess it's against us (our base is the only thing there on that side.)

The crew of the tank exits the shallow shell of its former glory. Luckily, no one was killed except for the soldier riding on top. They do not find a body though.
The soldier to the far left moves out, and opens fire on the living dead.
The soldiers on the right move out.
The tunnel the man to the bottom right corner was in caves in, killing him.
P.S., I hope you didn't just overlook a tank round slamming into the front hull of the ship. Just reminding you.

The shot zombie's upper torso is blown to shreds, sending rotting flesh everywhere while it collapses into a bloody heap on the floor; while the other zombie edges closer to the human, as if avenging it's fallen comrade.
Meanwhile, the island is stirring as more undead rise
(Not gonna make any more zombies now, going to stick with the 6 I have left)

Very weak and can be killed in 1 shot, but unless said shot is a headshot, or it is blown to smithereens, then it can still survive. Gibs very easily, and can easily be incapacitated, however, electrical weapons will temporarily immobilise them, but won't kill them due to not needing any of the major organs. Also immune to drowning, asphyxiation + radiation poisoning . (Strong environmentally, weak everything else)

The soldiers notice the paratroopers.
"HOLY SHIT! FLYING APES!
SHOOT THEM YOU MORON!"
The soldier in front shoots at the paratrooper, but misses.
Instead, it hits 2 of the wires. They will most certainly break, and cause the paratrooper to fall.
Perhaps he can survive the fall, but he will most definitely not be able to steer his parachute further.
(AKA: If you want him to survive, you should make him fall straight down, I could care less if he died and his body went further.
Edit: now that i think about it, if you can come up with something cooler, do it.)
The soldier behind him sens a telepathic message to all in the base.
"Enemies are approaching our base!"
[b]Leader[/b] and the 2 generals run outside.
He then proceeds to take out his weapon and stand on the higher piece of ground.
The gunship also lifts off again.
"L-23, we are ready to help you kick some ass!"
4 soldiers arrive in the base shortly afterwards.
The soldier on the roof explains the situation.
We are under attack by enemy forces. We shall tell you what you know about them.
They started attacking us for no reason, we had no choice but to fight back.
They are armed with machine guns and standard military equipment. We believe they are highly trained.
We will make you a proposition. We will help you fight the creatures in the spacecraft and any other foes, if you agree to help us defeat our enemies.
(Basically, just shoot them in the back :v:)
Meanwhile in the skyland, the engraved words near the top of the stone [b]WHICH IS NOT A TOMBSTONE I MIGHT ADD[/b] start glowing.
Those zombies might want to get out of there, that is, if they are not attracted to [b]shiny[/b].

The zombies who's eyes have rotted away stumble around blindly, while the one with eyes is attracted to [b]shiny[/b] on the rock which [b]isn't a tombstone[/b].
Zombie bites into the guy to the right of the bridge, you can even see his brain!
A ghost appears where the skeleton was, inside the bunker. It is evident it is surprised, and appears to be friendly.

The antimatter fields of the missiles disintegrate two of the paratroopers, the only remains are their disconnected parachutes. Back at the base, an Orb-Matrix Assault drone.
Assault Drone: Main force of the army. Their main weapon is an assault cannon, which functions much like a human assault rifle. It also possesses a dispersion sword, that can cut through most matter with ease. It avoids most difficult terrain with it's thruster, which allows it to change altitude, but not to extreme heights. It's weakness is heavy weaponry or enemy armor, which it has no real way of fighting these forces other than charging at it with it's sword.

Hey guys, I'm going to be very busy the following days, so I think I'll withdraw soon.
I might still keep my forces in the battlefield, but seeing as combat will be inevitable, it won't make a difference anyway.

The one able bodied paratrooper lands safely and regroups with the rest of his team on the ground. The crater is fashioned into a makeshift forward base, the west side is fortified and the soldiers open fire, absolutely tearing one soldier to shreds - and glancing a bullet off of another mans helmet, doing nothing but shocking him.
The paratrooper with the severed cable tumbles through the air hanging desperately onto the remains of his parachute and falls into a small trench, quickly he pulls the grass up and over him and stays as still as possible - hoping he hadn't been seen.

Taken by surprise, one of the soldiers is mercilessly shot down, perhaps in cold blood. The crew is unaware of why this fire was provoked. Nevertheless, the two troops retreat into the cover of their tank's disabled hull. Their captain, with standing honor and pride, chooses to die saving the lives of his men. He fires his Rocket launcher, which is loaded with an AP Frag Round. The the Rocket his the bank, the shock of the explosion completely ripping apart one soldier, and dismembering the second in multiple spots. The captain himself is shot down like a dog by incoming enemy fire.
The soldiers in the tank hull call for Local air support, and a chopper roves in, immediately firing on the trench. Although inaccurate, It catches the killer of the captain in the knee, and upon the forehead, though A decent dent in the helmet, the bullet bounces off with the energy of a flying baseball.
The soldier on the far left refuses to give up, and takes his last shots, killing the zombie, although he dies, his life accomplishments flashing by in his head as he bleeds out. There is no hope for this poor soldier..
The two soldiers are now mostly alone, surrounded on all sides. Hopefully the helicopter will help them get out of here.
