And now, if I do it, everyone will think I'm a hipster. I only wanted to do it because my dad used to have it, and it looks fucking kickass.
Don't worry, you won't able to get out of that teen stache.
By the way, Portland Oregon is Hipster capital of America. Trust me. I live here.
Hmm.
Fair enough. I just sort of assumed that living/going to school in hipster central would've meant that I'd be surrounded by hipsters. No one I know really fits that description, though. If it's down to a mistake by me rather than a misconception by others then you're probably right.
I wonder where they "gather", then...
go to a club in the city called called Rats
I assumed the people I was talking about were hipsters because of their love for op shop/their grandparents' clothes, theatre, indie music, blogs, etc.
i own a mass effect hoodie. theres no way i could be a hipster if i tried
After I'm out of puberty, of course. I couldn't grow a respectable mustache if I tried. It'd look thin and... puberty-esque.

It's not ironic if he actually likes Mass Effect.

'hipster' as a word is like a derogatory term for someone who acts like the above quote, so if they don't act that way, they aren't hipsters.
Hipsters are a scourge on society, they're like punk rock teens but autistic.
The beard is cool, I want one like that. But I'm not a hipster.
tumblr, more like hipsterblr.

That is why we hate hipsters, it's all about them.

They're both pretty bad hipster hotspots.
I love how it takes her 2 whole fucking minutes to open a can of SpaghettiOs.
They're the internet's punching bag this year. Every social group gets a turn.
We don't hate all levels of hipsters, I live in San Fran, one of the homes of these strange creatures. And yes, most of them are artists, own apple products, wear fake glasses, skinny as shit jeans even though they're fat..
However of course there are the more normal looking ones, the ones I don't mind, the rest however, our world can do without,
Example:
why wear skinny jeans if you cant put anything into there pockets
Slimmer profile mainly.
Back in the golden days of my army life one of my roommates was a Hipster. He wore purple skin tight jeans and his piece of shit Vans shoes that resembled Converse All Stars. He usually complemented this with a bright green shirt with this black tribal designs on the back and his New York Yankees flat billed baseball cap that was tilted slightly off center. God I hated that piece of garbage.
I have been pulling the Buddy Holly look since the 6th grade, and now girls come up to me and complement me on my glasses. And want to try them on. They are surprised to find out that they are prescription and not fake.
The one place I love are all the facebook photos:

There are a dozen example of this. The worst thing, is we all know one.

Stupid not to do it because it's "popular", that would in fact be hipster.
I just hate people who wear scarves all the time.
I worked selling sewing machines at a fabric store for 10.5 months. The scarf people walk by, and I'd always think to myself, "I don't know why, but I hate this person".
They also seem to act snooty
They are cultural black holes which consume cool instead of create it.
If you require further elaboration, I will be happy to oblige.
