The strange thing with Hipsters is that to be a Hipster you have to abide by all the parts (buying a Mac, wearing false glasses, wearing "ironic" clothing). Without even one of those parts you aren't really a Hipster, just a partially annoying douchebag at times. Hipsters make people who wear glasses for medicinal reasons look bad, which is a pain in the ass as I technically can't take my glasses off while still being able to read.
I like to wear shirts sometimes, usually when the weather permits, but that alone doesn't make me look like a Hipster despite what some people seem to think. So once again, Hipsters ruined something I like.
Thank god there aren't many in the UK, luckily the ones that do exist stay the fuck away from places I visit and sit in Starbucks or a Apple store all day.

i dont think anyone here who hates hipsters knows what a hipster is. there's a difference between a hipster and a douchebag. douchebags are douchebags, hipsters are nice, cool people. and while some do have a sense of self-superiority, most of them are just great, relatable guys who like girls and drugs and fun stuff.
hipsters also vary in personality types, just like any other human being. so classifying all hipsters as one thing (just like classifying any general group of people as one thing) is just not fair.

All I know about hipsters is their shit Deviantart. Especially the teenage girls who take pictures of themselves doing drivel with $10000 cameras they got for Christmas and then edit them on their Macbooks.
