This video is so full of misinformation... The media bias on this one was awful, though not as bad as the Casey Anthony case. And it was all media outlets. Even Fox. The only shows on Fox that didn't condemn Zimmerman were the opinion based shows, all the News shows followed the script. Hate Zimmerman, Trayvon was an innocent little boy. I never saw this picture on the news (even fox):
While they did use the most positive looking photo, that's the most negative looking, how is that better? Besides, dead people always get the nice photo treatment in the news, regardless of context. Wouldn't you be pissed if a family member of yours died and had a picture like that plastered on every news show? [editline]15th April 2012[/editline]
Pretty much sums it all up.
sums what up? It's an ED picture that's insinuating because he flips off cameras, holds money, and says "nigga" he had to be up to something. That's just as dumb as saying he wasn't because he had skittles. But it's ED, it's meant to be shocking and dumb and I find it hilarious that you took it seriously

We're just saying that the media is painting an incomplete picture of a person who may well have attacked someone. No one says Trayvon did anything. That's for the courts to decide. But when "popular" belief and media bias sways public opinion one way, the possibility of a fair trial drops. That's the only point we're making. The media is misrepresenting both parties.
What else is there to see? All you can prove is that Trayvon LOOKED gangsta. By the very same definition everyone on this (stupid) video is also a criminal and could be shot without consequence. Whoever the victim was doesn't justify his shooting, that's not how self defense as a legal argument works. If you are not under great bodily harm you can NOT discharge a weapon on somebody. And by how Zimmerman looks he was not under great harm, in fact, in any case, he put himself on a situation of harm by going after an assumed assailant himself, something that is illegal and is not what the neighborhood watch does. He's not a policeman yet he tried to be one, made a bad judgement call and killed someone. He's guilty as charged.

The point of that picture is that Trayvon isn't the upstanding, wonderful example of the perfect human being that the media tried to portray. While he may or may not have been a good person, he definitely wasn't a saint. So that picture proves that there is a chance Trayvon provoked Zimmerman as opposed to just got shot for nothing
If someone made a gif of that shrug at 3:58 you'd be my hero.
the media portrayed Trayvon as an innocent, little baby and some dick came and killed him for nothing.
which is pretty much what happened. Trayvon didn't do anything illegal, was pretty young, and got shot by some dude who had a hard-on for chasing crime.
I'm so glad you were on the jury and were exposed to all the evidence on both sides of the argument! Oh, wait.
The same I fucking ask to you. What evidence is there that Treyvon did anything other than he LOOKED gangsta? You're judging people by how they look and throwing an entirely arbitrary argument that is entirely based on personal perception, and you criticize me for defending against it. So maybe the media skewed things, but you're pulling shit out of your ass, something not even the media can get away with. Or are we seriously going to sentence to death everyone who could be able to commit a crime? 'Cause I can raise you at least 10 people who looked innocent and ain't.

Read what I am writing very carefully. I am not saying that either party took any action what so ever. All I am pointing out is media bias. If you have such a hard on for your little martyr Treyvon, go talk to someone else. You are accusing me of pretending to know what happened and making judgments. I don't and I'm not. I actually said that several posts ago. What I do know is that the media was giving an incomplete analysis of the two partys in order to further an agenda. That's all I'm fucking saying. You're pretending you actually witnessed Zimmerman execute the kid. You didn't. So stop.
The point is that the media portrayed Trayvon as an innocent, little baby and some dick came and killed him for nothing. So that picture proves that there is a chance Trayvon provoked Zimmerman as opposed to just got shot for nothing
sorry... how does imitating hip-hop culture prove make him a worse person? just proves black people acting that way is inherently scary to white people I guess. My opinion has not changed seeing these since before when all I saw was baby-faced pictures, and if you're really making these kind of generalizations instead of basing your opinion on testimony, you're an idiot. I'm not making any statement either way but the whole media bias thing is ridiculous because neither picture is particularly compelling to anyone with a brain. what is basically being said is "see he acts street therefore it's easier to imaging him attacking" and that's just as ignorant as saying he must be a good person based only on young smiling photos alone
At least it wasn't a typical black song...
I am not saying that either party took any action what so ever. All I am pointing out is media bias.
It's ILLOGICAL to point out media bias and suggest pictures of Trayvon (Without a comparison to Zimmerman) as an example of it as this is as biased as what the media is doing.
If you have such a hard on for your little martyr Trayvon, go talk to someone else. You are accusing me of pretending to know what happened and making judgments. I don't and I'm not. I actually said that several posts ago.
You don't yet you accuse him of being some sort of martyr to me, like if I was family or even related to the kid. You don't know what happened but you believe investigations were missing something. Strikes me as if there's an underlying reason for this?
What I do know is that the media was giving an incomplete analysis of the two partys in order to further an agenda.
Which analysis, the one that attempts to make Treyvon look like a thug? 'Cause the Zimmerman one is quite complete, we know he's neighborhood watch, of hispanic and white descendants, was currently taking a course to become a police officer, drove an SUV, had a previous arrest, attended Seminole State College and is married. We know he was roughly of the same size as Trayvon. That's all things that are out there on the news, from different sources. We know he currently looks like this: We know that Trayvon looked like this normally. Not like this like what you're apparently claiming they don't show. Why? For the same reason George Zimmerman doesn't look like this anymore. Because apparently now how you look determines what you are. Guess people don't remember not to judge a book by it's cover? Because people who look like this aren't necessarily innocent. (He's one of the two shooters of the Columbine massacre) However that guy I just posted, Dylan Klebold, had anger issues, he was under medication, often got drunk with friends, got bullied on school, had barely any friends, made bombs on the basement of his house, and maintained a frankly quite violent blog narrating all his exploits. It is actions, behaviors that determine when somebody is guilty or not, and all ANYBODY has on Trayvon is that he was suspended from school and had a Twitter account called NO_LIMIT_NIGGA, but no prior arrests, had above average grades, and didn't have problems at home, nothing suggesting a history of violence. What are you suggesting that we're not seeing?
