Gold is 2000 posts and 2 years right? . Also if I don't get 2000 posts before 2 years can I still get gold once I get 2000 posts(after the 2 years have passed, I dont think ill get 1250 posts in 10 days.)

You can only get gold if you get over 2000 posts AND stay on FP for 2 years. BOTH are required.

You can get 2000 posts at any point after two years and you'll still get gold

Every section says they need a dedicated moderator, yet no one seems to want to report any posts.
I've never seen the reports number more than four or five at once since I started up again.

Definitely this. As much as I've tried, [i]telling people[/i] that they're not doing the right thing doesn't really work (and is apparently against the rules even though that's not what backseat moderation means).
i'm happy to see that 7,000 of my posts were deleted. i went back to look at them once and they were pretty shameful. it's not like they're amazing or anything right now, but they're much better than before.
