It's a checkbox you have to check and sometimes I misclicked on the labs, but I always unchecked when I saw that I did, because obviously the post didn't submit. I don't see how he could have missed that unless he is careless
I've accidentally closed a thread before back when I was a recruit, so it's not a rare mistake.

What's the deal with moving my thread and few others to chat threads?
Chat threads are places where people shoot the shit and whatnot. My thread had a solid direction, it wasn't just people talking about bullshit, it was people talking about relationships. What makes my thread a chat thread that doesn't make [B]every[/B] GD thread a chat thread?
I mean, you got guys talking about how a childhood friend got raped and shit like that. What are those threads? Full of people chatting. Hell, [B]General Discussion[/B] implies that people will be, you know, discussing something. Like relationships.
My thread [B]does not[/B] qualify as a chat thread and the move to Chat Threads was outright fucking retarded.

So wouldn't a good solution be to move the thread, and leave a link in GD to it? IPB always did that by default, you got a little button that redirected people to the new thread, and it slowly left the forum after people stopped clicking it.
