I think you're misunderstanding, I'm not spending hours a day looking for people to ban. Previously if I would encounter a problem thread or post on a normal browsing session I would take care of it.
Is for me fixing things, there's a bit of disappointment in myself here. Along with the forum code I'm also responsible for maintaining the servers and working on a new web service for FPS. As a full time high school student I have trouble getting time to do all of this, so things like the double posting and ghost page bug would take ages for me to fix them. And if someone is about to point out that I do other things in my spare time, let me remind you that I am no machine. I need breaks from work, just like any of you.
Even when I do have time to spare, it's also spent on keeping the site alive. Remember when reedit and many other sites found out that wee had Crysis 2 info? I was up all night making sure the site stayed stable, and deployed additional hardware that garry didn't want so you guys would have a good experience.
Additionally, I'd like to take a moment to apologize for the underwhelming quality of the forums when they launched. For those of you who remember we switched over from the office servers some time in October to amazon saying that he wanted to go live with the new site immediately. I was a bit unprepared for this, but we went ahead anyway, as I ironed out problems minutes before launch.
And then, Facepunch did not preform well. Yeah, 502 bad coding, sort of. This has been the quite the learning experience for me, as I haven't had experience running a large scale web service at all. This is something that I'm very great for getting the opportunity though, as it will surely help in the my future. I do disagree that the site has been performing poorly, as we've maintained a a 99% uptime this past week.

To a lot of people, Benji possibly included, until this recent episode, compwhizii was just another aspie who embarrassed himself, and they ignored him. Now, people are seeing that he's an aspie that doesn't know when to back down and they're turning on him.
