Can't remember if saints row 3 had them, but in two you could choose walking styles, I wouldn't be surprised if that comes back in this and thats one of them.

SR1 and 2 had a lot of features that were left out of 3. Remember that Music Player you had in SR1 where you could listen to the songs you selected while on foot shooting guys?
Music player is back in 4
It looks like they improved the way faces animate during cutscenes. I noticed SR3's faces always had some sort of bug-eyed look when they smile.
Also the voice options include:
Male 1
Male 2
Male 3
Female 1
Female 2
Female 3
Nolan North
I know which one I'm picking
Female 3?

lets be fair here, this is probably the selection

It's been confirmed that this is the selection, the voice that replaces the russian female voice is a french one, and the nolan north one is a fourth wall breaking one where it's actually nolan north, not him voiceacting someone else.
Looks fun, I hope there's less cutscenes and talking though, they have horrible writers
Well, as fun as it looks, it sure as shit isn't Saint's Row anymore. Anything that made the first 2 games what they were has been demolished.
And I am okay with that, so long as the game is still good. I mean, the change is very drastic but if it is still fun then why the hell not.
My only issue is the writing. All of the cutscenes have been horrible and unfunny. It honestly feels like it is written by someone who goes on 9gag. I mean, your character is an annoying jackass but with none of the charm he/she had in the first 3. It just makes him/her look like a huge prick. Also, I am a little frightened at the amount of cutscenes shown so far. I mean, it was okay in 1 and 2 (and 3 to an extent) because the writing and humor was good, but I didn't laugh at anything in any of the SR4 videos I have seen so far besides that ridiculous walk animation. They just aren't funny, at least not the ones they have shown us.
I hope you get to go to the past whenever you want, I really liked that part.
Can you actually fly or is it just gliding?
I like the direction they've taken. It would be hard to imagine it going back to a crime thing after this though.

Wait, so, no British voice?
You better be fucking with me.

Where did it say that?

Male voice 3 from SR:TT is staying, all the Male voice options are
In the 50s scene, they mentioned "someone named Dex stopped by". Now it makes me question what ever did happen to Dex from SR1.
He ran away to an unknown city. The player fought Dex in the second (and technically last) DLC for SR2. He hasn't been mentioned or seen since, and isn't returning in 4 besides that reference.
Kind of pisses me off too. Not sure about Troy either.
I know this question has probably been asked (and maybe answered) before, but since we're on a directly observable topic...
If Shaundi is alive, then does that mean that only one of the SRT3 endings were cannon? Because while it may seem kind of contrary to popular choice, I actually enjoyed the "Go after Killbain" ending, as it seemed a bit more badass. A bit of a disappointment if it's not considered canon, or at least, there's not a choice for it to be.

Homies come first.

Strange, I just looked up at that Dex thing. For some reason I've never seen that DLC. Was it even in the PC version? Also, the protagonist mentions Mars in the last cutscene in SR2. Then you play on "Mars" in SR3. I have a feeling that if we don't play as the same guy in SR5(if there is one) then both of them will be mentioned again.

The DLC is called "Corporate Warfare"

Dex is actually already mentioned in SR2 in an extra mission where he basically tries to get you killed. http://saintsrow.wikia.com/wiki/Revelation
Apparently he doesn't appear in SRTT so people who never played the first game and DLC are not alienated.
I don't at all mind the wacky randumb humour as long as it's paced well this time. SRTT just savagely beat you over the head with how ~super crazy~ it was and it just became dull by the halfway point. Thankfully, IdolNinja seems to be very pleased with it (while still expressing frank and honest criticisms) and all the previews since the arse initial trailers have actually looked quite good, so I have some cautious hope for it.
Isn't looking as bad as everyone initially thought. That's a good thing.
Also that dubstep gun is hilarious :v:
