Would you kill to save someone you love? - General

Hell yeah, if I've know the person that I'm saving all my life.

I would. I wouldn't think twice, and I wouldn't lose a second of sleep over it beyond the cost of getting their brains scraped up off my floor. Threaten my family? Your ass is dead. Best part is Tennessee's castle laws mean I can't get into legal trouble over it, someone just six miles from my house blasted a would-be burglar in his antique store with both barrels, literally, and the cops just shrugged, scraped the bigger parts of the body off his store floor, and that was that. All you have to do is prove that, in that same situation, any reasonable person would have perceived themselves to be in grave danger, and if anyone's coming after my family they'll have to get through me first, so I would be.

I'd kill them either way.

You are biologically wired in such a way that you subconsciously think that the lives of the people you know are inherently worth more than the lives of people you don't know. The death of a random person won't have as large an impact on your life as say, the death of a best friend or spouse simply because you don't really know the random person. Monkey sphere, bitches.

But just some random person, that would be the most selfish thing you could do in my opinion. I don't think i could. Or would.

It's a really, really situational case. On one hand, I'd be very hesitant to shoot Joe Bob, happy, innocent father of five with a loving family. Even if that was that was the only way to get my lover back. I can't really make up bullshit on how I'd act because I've never been in the situation. The most I can predict is myself asking Joe Bob's thoughts on the ordeal. On the other hand, if it's some grungy criminal type or lowlife; I'd shoot him in an instant. Zero questions asked.

Yes, I would, without any hesitation. I love my family and significant other too much to risk anything happening.

I don't know if the person I'm supposed to kill is good or not, But if I love someone I know there good, I would kill the random person.

Hell I'd kill myself to save those I loved. The question Im finding harder is how many could I take before I draw the line.

Would mainly depend on the person, but there's a 98% chance of yes, especially if they are threatening me or my family.

This isn't an attempt to seem badass or psychopathic, but on account of my own personal moral code (or lack thereof, depending on how you interpret it) I would kill anyone to save someone I love. Without a second thought. I'm not being hyperbolic, I just simply have no vested interest in the life beyond anyone that I care about.

Yes because I obviously don't give a shit about the person I'm killing, after all they put me into the position of having to kill them to save the life of someone I cared about, thus they are not a good person whom deserves my kindness. You don't just happen to kidnap someone by accident or anything just a little FYI. Hell I'd go as far as to kill my self to save others so whatever.

In all acceptance of reality, I would probably kill a random person, regardless of who, to save the person I love, so long as it's someone I truly care for and not somebody I just go "Hey, what's up?" and don't ever talk with them besides that one moment of recognition. Would it affect me? Yes, obviously, but I would set aside the fact that I killed someone as per my belief that it was worth the trade off in life so that this person could continue living on to preserve my selfish desires. Even though I know it's wrong, I end up being the person who is horrible, yet the person I saved continues to live on, and I would willingly accept the fact that I am no greater than a simple murderer, a man who did something wrong for what he believed to be a good reason. In short, I'm a bastard with good intentions, but a bastard nonetheless.

I wouldn't kill them. I would make the prospect of death the most pleasant thought in the last 24 hours of the person's life.
