God damnit Clara, why do you do this all the time.
Too stupid to use game capture lmao
It heavily depends on what game, I imagine. For a competitive game like CS:GO, twitch will happily ban any dumbass caught hacking. However, for a game like Pokemon:GO, they didn't give a rats ass that 90% of the streams were GPS hacking basement dwellers ruining the game and other people's enjoyment. Many were even blatantly providing download links and explaining to people how to hack. It was quite tragic. I enjoyed watching people actually stream themselves going outside and finding stuff. Those streams pretty much died overnight when the hackers showed up.
Why would anyone stream anyways while cheating in a multiplayer game. That's just asking for it.
Girl, asian, lots of horny virgins on Twitch. You do the math, honestly.
I know a lot of the female streamers on Twitch aren't like that, some of them are really great people and I follow quite a few of them, but I've noticed even them expressing their disdain for the GURL GAMERRRR kind of streamer that's giving them a bad name. The streamer in this video is almost definitely part of that crowd.

Yeah, it's these literal attention whores that ruin the image of the actual female gamer. There's a lot of female gamers out there that are fun to watch and don't base their entire streaming career on having a pair of tits.
Though frankly, it's as much if not more the fault of the people who watch those streamers. If there's demand, there will always be supply.
Somebody else totally put it on there. :v:
This attempt to blame somebody else and save her skin. I can't. It is too good.
Especially when she was setting it up right in the beginning. :v:
This is kind of a related side tangent, am i the only one who thinks it's stupid as fuck when people have like, group names and such? I'm all for giving your followers a cutesy name once you're big enough or if it relates specifically to some of the games you play, for example Angry Joe's Army is usually along the lines of what he names his clans iirc. But i always get annoyed when people do shit like "The Dumpling Empire," or "the Wolf Pack." I like some of Lobos Jr's runs but i've had to flat out stop watching some because of the show he puts on whenever someone subs to him.
Might be putting too much thought into it but it's similar to me like when Youtube channels have really long, overblown intros and the first line they say is "SUP GUYS IT'S YA BOI X BACK AT IT AGAIN"
We actually lost our original family account (which had been around since the very first days of Steam) because my brother decided to run hacks on some random cs:s surf server.
I'm still mad about it

My little cousin is that type of guy who would run any hacks in any of his games. He recently asked me if I could family share my account.
I declined because I had no idea how to do that and I am glad I did.
Yeah she can never dig out of this one.
First she even uses the hack app, loads up her profile, later on the presses the hotkey to load said cheat and then blames it on her imaginary friend for uploading shit on her computer ????
Is she just making up Clara as a act or does she has issues mentally?

"Cheating in Online Games
Any activity, such as cheating, hacking, botting, or tampering, that gives the account owner an unfair advantage in an online multiplayer game, is prohibited. This also includes exploiting another broadcaster’s live broadcast in order to harass them in-game, such as stream sniping."
Hah, i never knew stream sniping was bannable. I love 'harrassing' streamers who are playing in pvp oriented games, if they're silly enough to broadcast their location and status publicly (and not be clever enough to secretly have extra dudes hiding just offstream to ambush the ambushers) then they have whats coming to them.

I think it's a joke that anyone stupid enough to broadcast their location in a player vs player game wouldn't be taking any special precautions. Lots of props to the streamers that lay hidden traps for snipers, but frankly everyone else is just fodder. They could just record the gameplay or add a delay but instead their own mistake bites them in the ass.
A streamer getting stream sniped and yelling "not fair" is like an player yelling about all the money printers they have on global chat (in darkrp or similar) and then complaining when they get raided, to use a site relevant example.

if a streamer accidentally shares their address are you going to give them what they deserve by going to their house and screaming through their windows as well?
also how can you even remotely compare streaming a game to committing a felony?

Obviously not, what the hell are you talking about. Video games stay in video games.
Okay i think you're failing to understand something. Stream sniping is when a broadcaster is displaying their location in a typically open world pvp game. Often they broadcast critical details like their location, or of a vital part of their base or strategy or something, this is in open world games where there is never a fair "okay guys line up five versus five lets have a clean fight". Information, diplomacy and communication is always vital in this kind of game, it's part of it. Then you go, inside the pvp game, and attack them, inside the game.
You seem to think stream sniping is "swatting", a heinous practice where you call the police and say there is something awful happening at their address, causing an armed swat team to raid their home. This can cause fatalities and obviously wastes police time and reources.

wasn't he just referring to that gmod roleplay shit where you could set up drug dens to get cash?
he just had an aneurysm as he was trying to write it out.

either way you seem real happy about stream sniping, like it's some pinnacle of your life achievements that you'll tell your grandkids in the future. and for people getting extra salty about him doing the stream sniping, who even cares

So basically you are ruining someone elses fun just because you can? Aren't you cute.
People wouldn't need to take any precautions if it wasn't for people like you.
Nervous damage control is the most pathetic thing to witness possibly in the entire world.
i once hacked in 2008 or 2010 and im still being berated for it
:'(
i've been fortunate enough to have never decided to hack in a steam game.
back when i was in middle school, i hacked a bunch in WarRock and ended up getting my expensive account banned.

I haven't stream sniped anyone in probably a year, if i give off that impression it's either a misinterpretation or shitty phrasing on my part. I do always enjoy watching it when it happens, as long it's the usual self important streamer archetype.
Looks like people aren't too happy with my comments, i might as well justify myself by providing an example. I didn't save the guy's stream(you'd think i would have if it was a pinnacle of anything) but there was an extremely self important guy in mortal online bragging about his combat ability, in full gear he went down into the main city's sewers. I went down after him naked with a sword, waited for him to get far enough in so that he couldnt escape, went and killed him because he didnt know how to properly play, and i took all his stuff. Queue a full hour of on stream complaining about how terrible a player i was, he still had my name displayed on his "KoS" list when i checked back two weeks later, it was a riot. This sort of thing suits my sense of humor, im quickly learning here that im alone though.
On a basic level the disagreement here is what constitutes fair play. For me, everything else on twitch's rules list crosses a line that stream sniping simply doesn't. In these type of full loot games information, talking to people, paying attention to people's hunting grounds and common travel patterns is part of the game, especially through talking to people and communicating outside of the game. If that person is just going to publicly broadcast that information while being enough of a twat on stream it's open season on using that information.
There's many reasons a streamer wouldn't/shouldn't go into public servers while playing, and I wouldn't put being stream sniped at #1. I'd imagine it's more annoying getting those fans who follow streamers into game, trying to show off how great they are on someone else's stream by pocketing/following them all the time, or constantly praising the streamer in chat while taking up a spot in the game that an actual player could use.
I'd rather watch someone deal with getting stream sniped than watch someone having to constantly switch servers because their fan-base keeps joining their team and throwing the match because they're focused on the streamer rather than the objective. And I'd rather play with a streamer who is getting sniped rather than a streamer who's getting crowds of fanboys following him/her and not contributing to the match.

Honestly it's hilarious that there are people like you out there who would think in a game like EVE everyone else it out there to protect your little stream fun safe space. Sorry, no, the game IS the metagame.
Just don't publically stream your game where there is significant possibility of loss. Record the game, put a delay, lay a trap, or just be so good at the game that it's not a problem for you. I've seen all this shit done to great effect. Especially in games with a small community, everyone knows when there's a stream happening, the streamer knows he is announcing his position to the community to intentionally look for a fight. People who don't realize this quickly learn.

It usually refers to watching your opponent's stream to gain an advantage over them by knowing their location in advance. It's just cheating and TBH you're a dickhead if you do it. It's not "part of the game" like you want to pretend it is to justify intentionally ruining other people's fun.
