the audio engine in the game runs REALLLY well It uses the cpu for sounds and shit. Frostbite is designed for dual cores because one focuses on sound and other stuff while the other works on some the graphics and effects etc.
This. But yeah, the soundfx dudes get some credit as well.
iam so getting this game
The whole video looks almost exactly like BC2, but you point out a few beeps?
the fuck, oher than a slight graphical similarity this game doesn't look identical to BC2 and thats only because they use the frostbite engine. other than that, the gun models, player models, environments etc. all look origional
Wrong section.
Very cinematic with all the military banter going on I like
Whats the deal with all the military talk? Its multiplayer, are those supposed to be players talking?
I personally think it's pretty awesome, even if it is a little scripted. But I know what most of you thought of the multiplayer beta, so I'm braced for the box rain.
nice... um... hud... [editline]05:21PM[/editline]
Whats the deal with all the military talk? Its multiplayer, are those supposed to be players talking?
It's the new game developer fad (accidentally spelled fag instead of fad :P). Every war game has to have some gibberish military talk.
Generally if there is people using mics in game (In BC2 no one does really) it lowers the volume of other voices.
Whats the deal with all the military talk? Its multiplayer, are those supposed to be players talking?
I wish I played with voice actors.
shotgun :gizz:
It seems a shotgun is more effective for sniping enemies than a semi-automatic sniper rifle. :v:
If they were able to make the F2000 a decent weapon in a video game then sign my ass up.
Wrong section.
no not really
I hate the frostbite engine. The gun models look insanely fat and cartoony.
This looks like call of duty
:bandwagon:
Loving the gun sounds, the shotgun is brutal. And it's nice to see you can hit things farther than 10 ft away with it.
It didn't look bad. I haven't played Bad Company but to me it seemed a bit similar judging from videos. But I love the sounds.
Looks fucking awesome
You got to be kidding.
That is a massive shotgun.
Never seen soembody so shamelessly copy Bad Company.
Never seen soembody so shamelessly copy Bad Company.
You mean DICE isn't allowed to copy their own game?
I wish I played with voice actors.
Join a game with just Nolan North and Steve Blum and you'll be set.
It seems a shotgun is more effective for sniping enemies than a semi-automatic sniper rifle. :v:
shotguns irl have a long range
I gave my beta code away since I knew i would only play it for like 2 hours.
looks alright
Never seen soembody so shamelessly copy Bad Company.
The multiplayer's made by DICE, fool. [editline]08:25PM[/editline] It's on the same engine too
Looks like someone told DICE to copy Bad Company almost to the letter, but make it even more like MW2. That shotgun is lovely, though. I hate watching console gameplay anyway. It looks so... clunky.
why would you use an iron sight on a shotgun
why would you use an iron sight on a shotgun
Slugs, they make a shotgun shoot like a rifle.
1:27 Zeke [Axe] Jonny motherfuckin axes, hot damn
