I myself am buying a Wii soon, more specifically this weekend(if I can find one :argh:), but the next console I'll be getting is a PS3. I'd get a 360, but I don't see a use, really. I'm not a fanboy, the 360 is a great console, but I was far from satisfied with my XBox, but I completely loved my PS3. It just felt like good gameplay was missing for the XBox.

I'd MUCH rather get a Zune than any other MP3/video player on the market. This guy in my 2nd period (last semester) has one, it's much better than the iPod video or Vision M. The only down sides are that it's masssively thick and the fact that the button is clearly an iPod knock off - it's round to make you think it's a click wheel(it's not). Other than those 2 things, I love it. Bigger screen, clearer screen, better contrast/brightness, and the color is more vibrant.

Yeah, my dad has an iPod Video and I must say, the Zune just seems crisper than the iPod, plus my widescreen videos look much better on it.
Also, there isn't a bunch of white, empty space during music playback, the screen is used by the album art, which is useless but just nice to not stare at white.

Agreed. I bought a black Zune after my (original) 5G video iPod died and I got fed up with Apple's service. It kicks the iPod's ass. The screen is much better, it has the BEST interface I have ever used on pretty much ANY device. The screen is large, crisp, and clear. The slightly rubberized plastic [B]does not scratch.[/B] The FM radio is a godsend when you just don't feel like listening to the music in your library or you want some news. And for video playback, looks wonderful and is very smooth. I have Juice get the show with ze frank every day and put it in a directory, which the Zune software looks in every time I plug my Zune in. It just works.
As for the whole PS3 / Wii / X360 debate, I will be going PS3/360. I already have a 360 and am VERY pleased with it. My friend has a PS3 that he got for Christmas. The picture quality is great, and the graphics are very nice. The only thing I noticed is that Motorstorm lagged like hell during certain times, with very noticable FPS drops. I would finish this post but I have to go.
