ain't seen you for a year, you join the army or something? :v:
No. I just watched That's My Boy.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, it was such a beautiful movie I had to see it again and again
Wreck It Ralph, Skyfall, Avengers... a crapload of other movies that don't come to my mind... oh, and Cloud Atlas, although that just got released here in Brazil.
Les Miserables only comes out in February, unfortunately.
Django looks good. Haven't seen it yet though..
So, Dark Knight Rises and Ted.
Because DKR for all the right reasons and Ted? Well, I really don't know why. I just love that damn foul mouthed bear.
Probably Wreck It Ralph.
I'm a sucker for stuff like that.
what made you want to see it?
you hate fantasy flicks yet you willingly spend money to watch all of them.
i have a broad taste - all films at their core are fantasy. i only don't like the lotr series. i try to watch as many movies as possible of all different genres.
cloud atlas was just a big terrible turd of dumb ideas, layman philosophy, bad acting and just as bad makeup, slapdash and overly complicated yet asanine plot, it just wastes your time and money.

hint: their last movie was the matrix 3
and before you say they directed the matrix 1, steven spielberg also directed jaws and other classics. but more recently, indie 4. filmmakers are only as good (currently) as their latest films. they can have been good in the past but totally lost it relative to now. as have the wachowskis.

that's true.

spielberg has kind of lost the plot recently..

underrated.
[editline]14th January 2013[/editline]
well not so much, but more "forgotten and overlooked".
Gonna go against the grain slightly here and say Les Miserables. In no way did i expect to like this, and I only saw it because I was on a date. But holy shit i came out of the cinema feeling like a different person.
I dont even like Musicals
Also, can't wait for cloud atlas to come out over here because the trailer looks fucking incredible.
Mine is very likely The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
It's my favorite book and as much as I went into the theater wanting so badly to hate it, I couldn't. The adaptation was next-to-flawless, the casting was fantastic and so was the choice of music. It made me smile, it made me cry, it made me happy that good adaptations are still possible.
And most of all, it made me love the book all the more.
