• My Parents Play Portal 2

Had both my parents play a cooperative game, and I chose Portal 2. I told them what game they were playing this time, gave them basic instructions, and asked more answerable questions, too. I don't know the amount of games to put in each 'episode.' I put three in the first episode, two in the second, and one in this one. I try and keep the video under seven minutes, otherwise I think it's too long. The more games there are, the more difficult it is to edit for, and keep the length shorter. Can't decide on an appropriate amount. Also, it's kind of confusing having two people play games simultaneously, and having people watch both their screens at once. I'd rather have two cameras, pointed at each one of my parents, but I don't have two equally suitable cameras to do that, also it's a pain having to sync up three videos, let alone four, without special software. I do it all manual
I'm surprised your parents even do all this shit, my parents would tell me to go away if I asked them to play some video games and let me film them
I love your parents.
I read it as Postal 2, very disappointed.
This one was harder to watch.
I like when he tries to bait your mom into getting shot. :v: These are great, keep making them!
Come here woman!... go stand on that button.
Frame your parents heads a little higher up so you have more room for their screens without covering them up. This series is pretty fun, please make more.
This one was pretty great! It was awesome to see them try and figure it out; as hopeless as they seemed. And I'd just like to point out as a viewer I wouldn't mind longer videos, as long as they'd be something you'd be able to do.
Now I want to watch your mom playing Rollercoaster Tycoon. Pretty neat stuff, I've always thought of Portal as a fun way to test logical and spatial reasoning, and of 2's co-op as that plus teamwork.
My parents wouldn't even understand how to move the character...
What do your parents work as?
It's better when you not talk so much, they're having fun and you're getting too frustrated without reason.
don't blow up the bunnies :(
this is a really cool idea. i like it. but you should just let them play the game
your father "alright your stupid" ahaha he's a closet gamer and he doesn't even know it
Your dad's comments are still fucking hilarious.
"I think it'd be better if there were hearts and bunnies!" "I think it'd be cool to blow up the bunnies." :v: [editline]3rd December 2012[/editline] Though next time, watch how/when you cut. During the interview, you cut to another clip in the middle of a word when your mother was speaking (at around 6:00 when she's talking about Rollercoaster Tycoon), and it's really annoying when people do that, especially since it's something that can be avoided easily. Also, try to let them figure it out on their own, and not intervene every 2 seconds (Though I can understand the frustration of watching someone else do so horribly at a puzzle game and the difficulty of not telling them what to do)
This is great, I love your mum. Although I think when you were talking to them at the end, you cut it loads at different points and it looked a bit too choppy.
And i was just teaching my dad how to turn on the computer. How old are your parents by the way?
Show them Natural Selection 2, that'd be entertaining.
Please swap parents with me.
I read it as Postal 2, very disappointed.
i'd pay to see this. make it happen OP
I think introducing some multiplayer was a good idea.
Have you showed them people's comments on these?
i'd pay to see this. make it happen OP
Dad wanted blood and guts Give the man what he wants OP
Record your Mother playing rollercoaster tycoon 3.
What do your parents work as?
My dad's a hospital administrator and my mom's a middle school English teacher. I really enjoy watching these, your parents are cool. Do they really act so in irl or did you ask them to film a little bit? :D
