18 in the UK, quite strict as well (90% of places will refuse you if you look under 21 and don't have ID). Feels damn good being able to finally legally drink in pubs and shit instead of using a shitty fake ID [editline]3rd September 2011[/editline]
Really easy because everyones got brothers and sisters. The white trash people would have their parents even do it.
My parents used to buy me booze when i was 15-18 but i'm not white trash!
18 (UK), parents buy it if I ask them.
19 in Canada with the exception of Quebec, which is 18.
18 years, I'm 18 but I'm still waiting on my ID. This sucks.
No, twenty.
Oh woops it is :v:
It's 18, but I first got drunk when I was 5
I know if you are in a pub garden you can drink between 12-18 if someone buys you the drink. ( In the UK )
In the provinces of Prince Edward Island, Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Saskatchewan, an individual who has not attained legal drinking age in Canada can consume alcohol under the supervision of a parent or an adult guardian.
:smug: Other then that I think Ontario, Canada is 19. While you can serve beer or work at a bar when your 18.
18 to drink and buy I think
18 to buy and consume for almost all alcoholic drinks. 18 to buy, 21 to consume for 40%+ spirits. But it's perfectly normal to start drinking at the age of 14 here. I got access to my parents' bar for all my life and that's probably why I haven't got such a big thing for alcohol. I heard that all the restrictions and shit make people desire it more...
18 but my parents always bought alcohol for me since I was like 15 [editline]3rd September 2011[/editline] and you can drink in bars etc if a parent is with you
18 to buy and 12 to drink. Heh.
Where I am from : 19 to purchase and drink Where I currently reside : There is no limit on drinking age but I have to be 18 to purchase
the US legal age is a joke. last time i was over there, i had been legally buying drink for over a year back home, then I go into a bar with my dad, and i have to sit there with a god damn coke. but you have to be 18 to purchase alchohol here. there isn't really any rules as to when you can drink. it's really up to the parents if they allow to have one. although i've never met a kid that likes the taste of any alchohol.
18 here in Australia. Like anyone actually gives a fuck.
18 in the UK, never saw the point in drinking. Just go to the pub with my friends, they drink alcohol and I drink Red Bull.
18 to purchase. Whatever age you want to drink since New Zealand's culture is pretty much based around drinking and rugby... and sheep
18 to drink and buy, 20 to buy from Systembolaget.
Fuck American laws...... Im 20 and I was at a friends birthday party, as soon as i got there i cracked open a coolers, took a sip and then the police were at the door. Since i only took a sip I thought I would be fine so I was the first to get Breathalyzer blew a .01, barely enough for it to register and the cop was laughing as he wrote my ticket. Went to court had to pay 300 dollars which since i work part time and pay bills kinda fucked me over and do 30 hours of community service. All the system is for is to fuck the people over Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses, yearning to breath free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore, Send these, the homeless, tempest tossed, I lift my lamp beside the golden door. "only to show them that they are still poor" Were welcomed to America by a giant french whore makes sense that they didn't keep their word
You can also have a glass of beer, cider and possibly wine in a restaurant from 16, provided an adult "buys and pays for it".
Wait an adult has to BUY and then PAY for it?! wtf kinda sick country...
There is no drinking age. BECAUSE ITS FUCKING ILLEGAL.
There is no drinking age. BECAUSE ITS FUCKING ILLEGAL.
Is it also illegal to let someone see your wife outside the house?
pretty sure its like 5 here
21 officially, but I live in downtown Detroit, the cops couldn't give less of a fuck, they've got other things to worry about than underaged drinking. Half the bars don't even ID here.
18 here, I can buy alcohol but I just rarely do buy some anyways.
18 to buy in the UK and it is also illegal to buy on behalf of someone under 18, however you can drink alcohol from age 5 in your own home with permission and under the supervision of your parents. This law is only there so you can allow your child to have a glass of champagne at new year for example, if you let your 5 year old get drunk every night it will fall under child abuse.
Such is life in the homecountry of the wine boy Also, as stated before, 16 here for anything that isnt spirits, those are 18+ I'm 15 and 50% of shopkeepers wouldn't care about my age, for the rest I've got friends to buy it for me.
16 for everything under 10%. 18 for stronger drinks. 18 for weed.
