How the fuck did Writing on the Wall win best song? It was a forgettable, unfitting song for a rather forgettable Bond flick
Because LGBT quota, that's why!
Ugh.
Leo got his Oscar, Mad Max got respect, Alicia Vikander won something, it was a decent night
I'm more happy that Brie Larson won than anything [editline]29th February 2016[/editline]
How the fuck did Writing on the Wall win best song? poor sicario. guess you can't get everything
Kinda miffed that Spotlight won Best Picture since I thought it was the worst of all the Best Picture nominees, excepting Bridge of Spies because I didn't see it.
How the fuck did Writing on the Wall win best song? It was a forgettable, unfitting song for a rather forgettable Bond flick
Because everything in that category was shit. You have a choice between giving an Oscar to Fifty Shades, Lady Gaga and Bond. I just would've flat out said "look nobody worked had enough this year so this category is void"

I was hoping for the Revenant or MadMax, but Spotlight was also very good.
When I left the theater after watching Spotlight I thought it was bland but serviceable and I figured I'd forget it in a week, but the more accolades it wins the angrier I get.
Yeah, Spotlight felt decent but I wasn't blown away or anything. Probably just a bit dry for my tastes. S'all good. The real injustice is Sicario not getting nominated for Best Picture.
I haven't seen Revenant so I can't say anything about his performance but from the reviews of the movie Leo's win feels to me like "it's his turn" than "he gave the best performance". Glad to see some of the other wins but sad about Sicario being forgotten.
I think we can all agree that the most satisfying award of the evening was win for Morricone? Like finally, we got some closure and something was made right in the universe. It's also the only category that I've seen literally zero complaints about on the internet, that's just uncanny.
