When do we get a S&box section
When Garry adds it, you're better off tweeting him than asking here.
Well i mean hezzy could set it up so this isn't that wrong a place to ask
but yea it is super early for that
Is it no longer acceptable to bump old content release threads over broken links/asking for a mirror? In the past, I've usually seen it reasonable to do so with clear declaration that the link/content is broken and the OP is no longer active, but this ban makes it clear that it is not acceptable. Personally, I don't see a problem with bumping the thread since a majority of the people who posted in that thread, including the creator, have been inactive for years with few exceptions, and the poster's best hope is asking in the thread. That way, at least, anyone who also wants the module can see any mirrors posted later in the thread.
Seemed like spam/shitposting to me. Gmod section in particular has a problem with people resurrecting ancient threads with little to no new content and generally shit posts. I operated under the assumption it is extremely likely that a) anyone would still have the link, and b) the chances of the addon still working in current versions of Gmod is close to nil.
Looking at it again now, me telling them to PM someone in the thread seems rather silly, and perhaps the rules around bumping need clarification and alteration.
Posting quality in the Gmod section in general is absolute garbage and needs cleaning up imo. Barring a few particular examples, the ruleset for that section hasn't been updated in a while, and probably should be.

read the article perhaps?
The title is poor, but not inaccurate. It's just looking at polling data over time.

But it's still a shit, clickbaity article. Can't you just put in the title "Trump is losing supporters according to polling data" instead of "WOW YOU WOULDN'T FUCKING BELIEVE THIS!??! CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT WHOM'S'T'V'E TRUMP IS LOSING"
Because to me this, is the garbage, bullshit Buzzfeed esque titles that I expect to see on Facebook by a sold page, not Facepunch. If the article is good but the title is clickbait, change the title. I hate seeing this
Fucking legend
Right.

Any individual users aside it would be nice to forbid psyops tactics used by fascists from any / all forums discussion, imo, or at least make it warnable.
It would be kind of hard to argue that those posting behaviors have done anything but completely eliminate meaningful political discussion in the vast majority of threads.

What psyops tactics?
What psyops tactics?
Dog-whistling, extreme whataboutism, goalpost shifting, insidious astroturfing, intentional disinformation, and (I've only seen this once) consensus cracking.
Most of the above are designed to cause a resource burn and avoid talking about actual issues. We're so fixated on a single poster (the Coup de grâce for this one being a massive animated avatar) that hardly any discussion on what they don't want to be discussed happens.

nice photo, was it taken with a Russet or a Yukon Gold
Do you have cookies enabled?
It could be either corrupted cookies (in which case they'd want to delete their fp cookies and relogin) or their bookmark might be set to www.facepunch.com which will cause a similar issue from what I recall. (In which case they just need to remove the "www." from the bookmark.)

Are you using the HTTP or HTTPS link to Facepunch each time you appear signed out? If you are visiting Facepunch on the HTTP version of the link, it will sign you out often, whereas you stay signed in if you visit the HTTPS version.
May I be able to ask for a second time if I could have a moderator remove my broken title please.

It's not even an Imgur broken image now. It's a puu.sh screenshot of the Imgur broken image. So it's probably on purpose.

You could probably track down exactly who depending on which moderator uses weeaboo circle clicking image hosting
Oh god I just noticed that.
Who the fuck did that.
That's amazing.

I would like a moderator to please remove my title. I don't want a title. Please.
I think polidicks should have a rule that if an article cites a study that the study should be linked directly along with the source
Yes.
and that the title and content of the article should align with the conclusion of the study otherwise it should fall under editorialized/misleading title/badsource.
Eh, I'd rather the title just be kept. As long as it's a decent source it should be fine, especially since Polidicks basically requires decent sources. Sometimes you do get articles with headlines that differ from the conclusion but then the user is faced with either being banned for editorializing the title or being banned for having a misleading title. Just keep the title the same or as close to same as possible (to make it fit etc) and if it's a problem a moderator can fix it down the road.
