Ticks are scary shit.
I always stand on sharp shit when I have my feet unprotected. Like earlier on I stood on a fucking plug. Shit hurts ya'know?
Try stepping on a lego.
It's all fun and games until someone steps on glass:(
Ops best friend is his cat [editline]12:33AM[/editline] Why were you having sex with your cat in that picture
wow man ahahhaaha sex with an animal you sure are hilarious
When I walk barefoot I always step on the broken glass and faeces scattered around my house.
you were supposed to walk on the sidewalk or something. i walk my dog barefoot. never stepped on glass or had ticks. its just stupid to go in the woods barefoot.
Here in NZ we are usually barefoot whenever we can.
Tics will get you whether you are barefoot or not. I've worn combats and walking boots for a 3 hour walk over grass and got 3 ticks, one on my inner thigh, one on the back of my knee and one on the top of my knee.
I avoid walking barefoot in wooded areas for that reason. Also I forgot what they were called but in some third-world countries there are worms that bury into your skin and lay eggs. Then those hatch and feed on the nutrients you get from food and grow inside you. It occurs a lot more often in third world countries because of the similar climate in most of them and the fact most people walk barefoot everywhere.
Ok everyone this is the new Tiny houce thread. some of you may remember this and some may not. The new word instead of Houce is bafefoot.

Your going to get a ring worm, they enter through your foot and climb into your small intestine.
Your going to get a ring worm, they enter through your foot and climb into your small intestine.
Uh, ring worm is a fungal infection of the skin causing a ring like effect. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dermatophytosis
Uh, ring worm is a fungal infection of the skin causing a ring like effect. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dermatophytosis
well then I guess I'm just a terrible person then. It's some parasite that goes into your intesine through your foot and enters your intestine is all I know. People in third world countries get it a lot because they don't have shoes.

Cracks me up when people walk over little stones barefoot and walk like its hot coal, stones feel like a feet massage to me.
OP missed the fact that walking barefoot should only be done over short distances on well maintained footpaths.
I have only one sock I'm half barefooted I'm such a rebel
I used to run barefoot all the time when I was a kid, I only wore shoes and socks for school. My feet were pretty strong because of that, I could walk down a rocky road and it wouldn't really hurt unless I stepped on a pointed and elevated rock. One time I decided to show off my stomping a beer bottle barefooted. I did it, bottle shattered, foot unharmed. The only injury was a piece of glass that flew up and cut my hand, my foot was fine.

running bare foot through the wet grass feels great.
running bare foot through the wet grass feels great.
See, there's a limit to when and where you should walk barefoot. It's awesome, but don't go into heavy woods barefoot, or even woods that don't have a worn down path.
I've tried walking barefoot outside a time or two. Not too bad, can't do it anymore because now these motherfuckers are starting to fruit: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/84yar.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/JmZcj.jpg[/img_thumb]
