To boil it down; Numerous people make complaints about BlueSkilly / Jordan to me about the way he conducts himself and runs his Discord I defend him and ask people to give him a chance, he's new at this, etc etc Layla is briefly talking about garry's mod with other users in one channel in his Discord, Jordan posts publicly in front of everybody telling Layla that this isn't the right channel, to speak in a different channel. Something that could (and probably should) have been done in private. I've seen it and it came across as power tripping, i.e look at me I can tell a Dev what to do. Numerous people were talking yet he chose to reprimand Layla. Layla isn't really one for taking shit from people so leaves Jordan's Discord. At this point numerous people message me to make me aware of what has happened, Jordan has seemingly written a 2000 word woe-is-me essay as an announcement on his Discord. I review the situation and I decide that I'm not happy that we're sponsoring Jordan's Discord anymore. We make a new Discord for the game, that is under our control. Jordan has been spinning his side of the story to anybody that will listen. Personally I liked Jordan and we played a lot of Rust together during the invasion event, but this whole situation is pretty disappointing.

Sounds like a good ol case of "i couldnt have power over someone so imma talk mad shit ay lmao" Also complaining about offtopic voice/text chat in what's probably a really low pop Discord is autistic as fuck. Said individual sounds like a cunt and you are all better off without him imo.

The whole "I made a Discord out of friendlyness and happy sunshine" shtick in the reddit post came across pretty fishy even before I read Hezzy's post.

I'm not even surprised this is involving Layla, he has bullied and shamed people in the past for no good reason. What I don't understand is why Facepunch is getting involved in a dick contest between these two. They should sort their mess on their own.

Yeah I gotta say, even though I dont understand this fully, Layla (again) seems to be getting extremely mad over something that can be solved in a more friendly manner. Nobody likes to be told off like this, so it's not surprising in the least to see this backlash - and it's probably worth taking backlash seriously before it grows too big. Idk why someone thought to involve Kiwi though.

Remember, these aren't private messages, you don't need to go out and apply it to all your private conversations (since those use a blanket configuration)

A mixture of being butthurt over having put quite some work into the Discord that lost users and "no power over Dev" as well as mad Layla response and to top it off our frequently posting "I was awake for too long lol 24Hours" resident Mod Kiwi. I'm not here to attack you, I'm just kinda concerned that you'll get more backlash, and that it might eventually be too much to easily handle. As a dev for FP, people naturally pay more attention to things you say - so it's best to be a bit careful so you don't piss off too many people, right?
